Living in Savannah, I watch WSAV, the NBC affiliate for my news. The CBS station WTOC also does a much better job than WJCL

The only thing that annoys me (as a journalist) is their non-stop talk about the resume tape. Maybe it selective editing, but at some point do they care to get into the community and cover some serious issues?

As in not just listening to the scanner and focusing on the tourist areas?

Since this is the first episode, I will be optimistic.

From Savannah: WTOC is a monster in the local news game. I think the problem is when you guys are on that you have a great deal of mistakes on live T.V. Thats the main reason that I dont watch.
