I once,(many years ago),thought I saw Bob Hope in a movie where Bob's girlfriend was crazy about a South American Polo player who was coming to their hometown and the girl had invited him over to her house. Bob dressed the way he figured the polo player would and affected a spanish accent and tried to keep

her away from the other guy. She fixed a really spicy meal and Bob took a bite

then made an excuse to get her out of the room and drank the water from a

boquet vase.

Legends right here,George Burns was in the scene earlier ,,Jack or Bing made a joking disrespectful remark to Burns and he said I got a comeback for that but I'm savin it for my show........R.I.P.

Why oh why doesn't TV land or the like air this stuff? Benny, Berle, Burns and Allen, Hope and Crosby, and so many more had some great shows in the 1950's.

This is from a filmed "JACK BENNY PROGRAM" (shot at close friend George Burns' "McCadden Productions" facilities), originally telecast on March 28, 1954. Bing appeared in return for Jack's guest-starring appearance on his first filmed "special" for General Electric the previous January...
