Yes we have debt. Compare the debt of the US against all other leading Countries. US public debt is 60.8 % of all of our income (GDP). While that is high, it is manageable if they would stop spending, or raise taxes or cuts some spending. But the point is is the other top Countries. Japan 170%!, Germany 62%, France 67%. "They excluded the people who've stopped looking for jobs" which means the total unemployment rate is at 10%. Yes we have debt. Compare the debt of the US against all other leading Countries. US public debt is 60.8 % of all of our income (GDP). While that is high, it is manageable if they would stop spending, or raise taxes or cuts some spending. But the point is is the other top Countries. Japan 170%!, Germany 62%, France 67%. And you must realise these Countries have more debt as a % of all of their income (GDP). Yet they have healthcare, etc and have not fallen apart.

hey eyesonfox, all I have to say is: That so called 'destructive' Capitalism that you sound like you are against is the answer to all of these people getting the things they need and want. Unregulated Laissez-Faire Capitalism is the ONLY economic system that is in line with FREEDOM. I wish I could get people to read Capitalism the Unknown Ideal by Ayn Rand. You would LOVE Capitalism and the freedom that this country was founded upon. But people just want unearned wealth and that DOES NOT WORK!

He makes like 200,000 dollars a year by sitting behind a desk and telling people how lazy they are.
The people shown in the clip are STRUGGLING. Unlike Beck, they work hard and get very little in payment, so little that they need to use welfare to survive.
