Something tells me that comedic generation had a grudge against her...
The Bonzo Dog Band has a song called "Bored" in which Vivian Stanshall declares, "I hate each Julie Andrews film they've made/ I'm just a nasty, narrow-minded jade..."
and they also do their own beastly rendition of
The Sound of Music."
But they are an awful lot of fun!!
