Just a question: how did you create the frame (chassis) of the rc boats?

Engines and radio commands are constructable but frames?

Get a ship plan, it generally shows the frame shapes at different positions along the ship, paste these shapes onto plywood, then, when cut out, fix them to a main central beam running the length of the ship bottom. Add strengthening struts along the sides, cover in thin ply, or individual balsa planking Fill in till whole ship hull completed, sand it smooth and seal. Several model sites such as Modelwarshipsuk & Modelmayhem give advice free and show how its done.

The big criuser is actually a British Battleship. Either King George V or Rodney I think. At least that's what it looks like.

KGV or Rodney were Uk ships, KGV had 4x14" 2x14" and 4x14", Rodney had all turrets in front mounted with 3x16"

this ships is probably North Carolina or South Dakota which both are USS

It looks like the Iowa class to me, the only thing wrong with it is the front is too short.

@Ghostneocz Yep, your absolutely right. The sheer size of that forward superstructure and bridge threw me off. That's an Iowa class Battleship model. Sure is beautiful.

Most of these ships will travel 500 meters or more without any problem, only the skipper has, because he will lose sight of the ship.

Hello Kiddy, No we do not fight that's indeed something completely different.

The guys doing that are also preparing there ships that they can actual shoot and that they are capable to sink and recover so they are ready for the next battle..

True, but its quite hard, as there electric mini motors they make quite some rpm's so you need a little mechanic system to slow the rpm down at the end wich most of the time is no space for and you need the higher rpm when there's abit of current or alot of wind.

You could probably modify an airsoft aeg in such a way as to mount the firing mechanisms on the larger vessels.

Maybe put little speakers in the hull to simulate cannon fire when you shoot the thing.
