@bobs5050 I think they have their work cut out more than ever trying to convince people to move on to next gen consoles. The graphical leap will be nowhere near the same as what we've seen in the past and I don't know how many other innovations they can really push. Yeah PS3 gamers have been royally shafted, especially when you consider elite players don't even get it the same time as Xbox. It doesn't surprise me though.
Hi all this talk of new consoles are they really neeeded yet dont get me wrong but the current ones seem too have plenty of life in them also i cant see sony letting microsoft get the jump on them This dlc system for MW3 stinks ps3 ripped off again as far as i can see by the time regular players on the ps3 get the last dlc a new game will be out what total BS Cheers Bob
@M3vinOfficial Yeah I can't see a 10 year life-cycle being feasible now, maybe they just mean supporting the PS3 for 10 years with a PS4 coming out sooner. Either way, letting M$ get a head start again would be moronic on their part, but lately Sony don't seem to learn much from their mistakes. I don't really play RTS' unfortunately (because I suck at them)! Or PC games! So I'm afraid Starcraft II will be a no go por moi!
The only advantage in hardware that Sony has right now is that it has a Blu-ray player. 10 Year life cicle might only work for the 'noobs' aka your average mom and dad. And maybe it is the smart thing to do for them, to release the PS4 later. As Microsoft haven't announced the hardware yet, and it wouldn't make sense for the PS4 to make the hardware any different, as the games will most likely be identical. Btw, you should play Starcraft II.
