Very rare footage of Roy from this period. They only started the RR Festival in Portsmouth (where Roy and his father worked at the US Shoe Factory) in 1982. Roy's boyhood home is now a private residence, but there is a marker nearby. It is in the Duck Run area, near Portsmouth and close to Lucasville.

Actually Roy's hometown was Duck Run, Ohio...not far from Portsmouth.
