  • Thank you SO MUCH for this! I never thought I'd see it again and was honestly starting wondering if I imagined it existed.

  • wooly F!@#$ed them up and grubby is a pimp, I still have my grubby character somewhere but I demolished teddy ruxpin when I was 3 yrs old

  • Thanks so much for posting this!! I loved this when I was a kid and have searced everywhere for it but could only find the cartoon instead, my 18 mon old little girl was glued in my lap watching this.. Any idea where i can get a copy of this at?

  • The End Credits just makes me want to gather all my Friends & Familly together and go on a big adventure with them.

  • its like the triforce meets the fifth element.

  • This is the magic that happens when the Force is in balance.

  • Trust--the princess trusted on her saviors and they came through to her

    Imagination---Gimmicks power to invent

Honesty--- Grubby was always so true and loyal to Teddy as well as others

Bravery-- Arin's courage he showed that he had within himself throughout this story

Friendship-- Teddy was a dear friend to everyone

Freedom--they all realized that they had found the treasure within themselves, and that set them free..

OR-in this case the truth set them free

  • "We were glad to help you princess"

What sincerity!! --that's why Teddy's voice/ Phil Baron rocks!! So filled with compassion, and sincerity!

  • Had Tweeg realized the value of what real treasure is and had he learned to share and not be so greedy--the treasure would not have dissapearred.

The treasure would have stayed for Tweeg had he known that materal posessions are not what makes one feel rich.

The treasure was the truth of what the medalian had inscribed--the power of knowledge is true treasure.

And the crystals that each of the characters had-- those traits are treasured qualities. Values that Tweeg never showed---

  • The treasure of jewelry and gold is not the purest of treasure and that's why it dissapeared. Tweeg was greedy --greed ends without a single friend and that's why Tweeg has not gotten any friends!!

Teddy and Grubby and Arin, Gimmick, and the princess have the real treasure--within their hearts. The power of sticking together, helping each other, kindness and generosity----those are the real treasures.

Tweeg didn't know the value of what real treasure is!!

  • Labyrinth similarities abound here!!!

    Wooly is Ludo.

3:46 Wooly jumps the guy piloting the airplane.

In Labyrinth, Hoggle jumps onto the guy that controls the Big Robot who blocks the entrance to goblin city.

The planes here are like the inhabitants of Goblin city in Labyrinth.

We got Tweeg as the goblin king Jareth.

The rescuing of the princess is like the rescuing of Toby.

  • @happy7117

This movie is like a child's version of Labyrinth with Wizard of Oz elements!!

Why anybody has not noticed the similarites before me--I don't know!

    1986-- Labyrinth!! This show--1986!!!!

Princess in the Castle being saved by companions dressed up as guards--Wizard of Oz!

When Teddy nd Co. are standing at the entrance there---ringing the bell--I was expecting a sign that read "Bell out of order--please knock!"

  • damn dude, prince arin's glam rock hair is way sweeter than in the cartoon, i have to say.

  • Wooly is actually a Snowzo, a creature that lives far to the north and only visits Grundo when it's really cold. Wooly was a Snowzo that got lost in Grundo and so never returned north. He's purple from drinking the water from Rainbow Falls, which is why the Fobs (the chattery round bird-like creatures) are so colorful.

Yeah... I have no life. Useless information FTW!

  • @AngelVoice23 Which Teddy Ruxpin story cassette contains that informationi? I know it's suggested in Willy and the giant Snowzo's that he may be a Snowzo, but I don't think it's proven, I'm guessing you got that information from The Wolly What's it story, right?

  • @Lachlant1984 Actually, I got it from a Teddy Ruxpin fan site. Some of them are surprisingly detailed!

  • Tweeg's expressions are priceless! Thanks again for posting <3

  • wow. i feel like i must have been REAL young or REAL stupid to be as obsessed with it as i was as a kid!!! it was fun to watch again though... i bet it'd be real neat on shrooms. =P

  • i love the song.

  • Wonder how Tweeg and LB got away from the Hard to find city?

  • Take note of the 2 statues on either side of the medalian.....Illiop statues. This is mentioned in the animated series. :)

  • I like the city sets and back grounds. :)

  • Wooly is not a dog. he's a What's-It.That's why is is called the Wooly What's-It

  • my dog's name is wooly 0.0 lol :p

  • 3:45

Oh Snap! Whooly's pulling a GTA!

I'm sorry. This video is prime for riffing.

  • Whats this the same company that made the Disney Channel's Dumbo Circus around 1985?

  • Some of the same people, yes.

  • Well, the reason I ask was cause the voice on Twig may sound like a Dumbo's Circus character. Most likely Barney the dog.

  • @caa1000 >> The creator of everything Teddy Ruxpin was the guy who created the suits for both Dumbo's Circus and Welcome to Pooh Corner (one of my favorite Winnie The Pooh shows)

  • I can see why they went with the animated version of this show, but it's good to see the live-action version again

  • Wow still great after all these years I watched this so many times as a child I wore out my tape! After seeing it again I think I will buy it for my four year old. Thank you for reminding me how amazing it is! Also if anyone is wondering ebay has it!

  • so cute

  • ok, as for my last post, I'm terribly sorry. i was a little hyper that's all. but anyways, i like this movie. seriously.

is it just me, or is the lighting in this video a little too bright? i'm guessing though, it's probably just how they recorded it, or at least the age of the tape. the color in the videos start to deteriorate with time you know.

  • "I'm Rrrrich! I'm Rrrrrrich! I'm Rruururich!"

    LMAO
