That is the look of a very tired or stressed bird. Very impressive to say the least and I'm highly jealous of Neil. However that doesn't look like a happy bird with the open mouth, slightly raised crest, drooping wings... just saying.

Neil what else you going to do to surprise us. I too am from Prairie du Chien, WI and am a avid raptor picture taker. I have 5 nests I try to monitor for baldies but the high waters keep me at bay. Would love to see this bird myself. I am a friend of Timmy Arnold for many , many yrs and my father was the local archeologist. Thanks for sharing !
