This song is sad. But, by the same token, there's also an underlying feeling of happiness and hope. The meaning of the song that I can draw out is, that bad stuff in life happens. However, regardless of how bad things seem, never let it get you down. Have faith that things will work out, and eventually, they will, no matter how bad they seem to be.
