really what i find most disturbing is this guy sued MJ in January 2009 for $44 Million due to unpaid "royalties" for the Thriller video, and the girl in the video followed the lead and sued for several millions in May 2009. sad .

@iamautobody some lawsuits against him were extortion attempts by greedy people. And some who sued really weren't paid. I don't think its MJ not paying them, its MJ's people not paying them. He has a lot of evil leeches around him.

I agree with John too, Michael's later life was tragic. He shouldn't be dead or broke. If it wasn't for the trial and his family he would be alive. I was shocked when I heard the news but i knew he wouldn't do the tours I just knew.

Michael's life was definitely tragic--the only problem with his eccentricities is that not everyone saw them for what they were, which was just another quirk in his personality that made him interesting. I liked (still do) his eccentricities. those eccentricities are what made him far more worthy of my attention than the various hitmakers that have come and gone in the last fifty years.

Generally speaking John speaks highly of Michael. However, isn't eccentricity a good thing? Isn't it displaying creativity and individuality? And it's sure tragic that Michael died but I don't believe he was a 'tragic person' and had any part in his own death.

I agree with John. Michael was great and also tragic. Anyone who has been following his career long enough could have predicted his death. I knew it would happen soon, especially after that crap with the trial. Too much pressure, too much corruption. Even though I was in shock I was not surprised when I heard the news. I think a lot of people felt that way. Very sad.
