Very well made. I was thinking of buying this heli and you gave a me a really great idea of what I would be getting. I am very impressed not just by your video but by your obvious knowledge on the subject. Thank you very much for making the video. This was very helpful.
I got to say, thats one of the nicer reviews ive seen here on youtube. Considder doing this for a lil on the side. Offer it to some RC producers and see if you can get some samples if you show this as a example of how you review. Most of em love a bit of PR.
Hi aurora2k..Well what do you know, I give it a go after FMS training..ha..ha..ha..Although I can fly it well in FMS but not the real thing. Probably it is me at fault (having cold feet and less patience) not the helicopter, It's keep moving forward and back and very hard to keep it to hover. Really hard. For me I'm not lucky enough in less 20 minutes, I damage all the blades, body and undercarriage. Probably
model helicopter is not for me, I'll try model EP plane next.
it is made of thin plastic, it breaks easily if you are not careful, so it helps to have spares on hand, or just make a tail boom so you don't need to replace the tail canopy, plus it looks cooler and saves you from getting the tail canopy
the only thing close to an upgrade you will find is another canopy, there are no canopy upgrades unless you find a different stronger canopy that will fit
hi, i am a beginner and i am now flying with a 2ch picooz, and i want to buy a lama v4(it have 4 ch= means better control) but what is that kirstal thing for?
and the LED voltage indicator is that for the transmitter or the heli?
1 more question xD does it also have a voltage indicator for the heli?(i dont want the heli crashing hard)
the crystal is for the frequency the helicopter operates on, the voltage meter is for the Transmitter and there isn't one for the heli, you will know when the battery is low, the helicopter starts to take more throttle to make it go up and eventually will not fly and you can hear the motors slowing down.
is it good for flying indoors and outdoors??? i am planning on flying it in both but i want it to be able to maneuver inside well.. and is it built sturdy for example if i run it into my wall will it break?
is it good for flying indoors and outdoors??? i am planning on flying it in both but i want it to be able to maneuver inside well.. and is it built sturdy for example if i run it into my wall will it break?
hi i need help!!! my heli works fine except for this... it tilts to the right every time i wanna fly! i maxed the elevators but it still tilts... (not spining, tilting)
um u guys, my helicopter's 4ch transmitter's LED voltage indicator is always red, does that mean the batteries in the actual transitter are low or the helicopters bateries are low? and also the batteries are perfectly fine, i tested them out on my 360 and it says theyre full. Sometimes my helicopter works then it just stops, sometimes it randomly spins really fast. This isn't for beginners, this is bullshit, it didnt even come with a warranty.
yes you there are loads of them on ebay the cheapest i saw one was 4 dollars and 4 dollars for shipping but they are all from honk kong so i don't know about shipping time
alright cool! coz i have flight sim on my computer, i wanna start learning how to fly a non-coax heli. well $4 and $4 shiping, they might as well load up the box with anthrax!
LOLZ, good luck on learning on a non coax heli! i need to fly more if i want to get summin like the blade 400, better start practicing and saving my money!
have you read the instructions for trimming the lama so it doesn't spin? that will help you you can use the trim knob on the transmitter and if that doesn't work you will have to adjust the potentiometer inside the helicopter
i got my lama v4 today, but i never flied succesfull yet. its bacause when i try to take off it tilts to the right. not spinning. it tilts. so how do i got it away?
i would try trimming it with the trim knobs on the transmitter and if that does not work read the instructions again and take the canopy off and check that the swashplate is level in all directions and change the length of the pushrods if necessary i would also check the servos because i had a similar problem on mine and the servo was broken, good luck!
if you bought the controller you the antenna is replaced with a USB connector, and you download FMS for free online search FMS In google and it will be there
thanx, i was originally going to get the Blade cx2 but it was too expensive for my budget so i bought this a nice alternative, just as good with out the 2.4 ghz
Yeah pretty much the same thing alot of the parts will interchange. I got the CX2 because I fly in different areas and didn't want interference. Your Review reminds me of Nightflyyer's reviews.
very nice review, i enjoyed it :D that helicopter looks very nice, glad you chose the blue :D and hope you get great fun flying it, all i no is the twin duel rotors are very good for stability, im sure that heli will be very stable, and good price for it, ive seen that for £120, which is over $200, u are lucky :)
cool, i look forward to it. don't mind my hat comment btw, i like it. if you wore goggles with it, it would look like an old WW1 pilot hat though. ;O)
... and shout 'chalks away Ginger' every time you drive away, lol. ;O)
on a slightly more serious note, it's not a good idea to have a loose flowing scarf on a motor bike, if the worst thing happens you don't want a scarf to get wrapped around the wheels etc. A famous actress died in a similar way when her scarf got caught in the wheels of her old style Bugatti. :O(
Nice!

maybe you can help me? im a beginner, and my heli spins to counter closkwise...
i tried adjusting on the transmitter, no good...
then i took the body off to adjust the "gain" and "proportional" i maxed them both clockwise still spins around... HELP =(
0oDenniso0 2 years ago
try checking if both motors are spinning at the same speed, change the potentiometers, gain controls the gyro sensitivity
UKrocketeer 2 years ago
potentiometers, gyro sensitivity??? well the gain screw is maxed clockwise, also is the proportional screw...
0oDenniso0 2 years ago
read the manual, that is very helpful sometimes. but it doesnt help that it is in engrish

yes, this is the point of this design of helicopter, i learned to fly on this helicopter

the FMS simulator and get feel how it supposed to b controlled, is this do any good?

FMS helps with learning the controls, how to takeoff and land, aerobatics etc. Yes FMS is definitely good for traing and having fun

I do believe I heard you say that the reason that it's so stable is because the counter-rotating blades counteract the torque. ( 4:15 )
Torque?... wow
Don't post reviews unless you actually know what you're talking about.

hey does the transmitter really tell you how much battery has the heli left or is it just lights turned on
rolgarcia1 3 years ago
it is the battery for the transmitter

No,u can only see how much power u got left on the transmitter,so u can't see how much battery u got left on the helicopter.
