@gaypanda If you are on about Alexander Rybak here, personally, I think he has a poor voice and he sings VERY childish songs. Did he win last year because he is apparently 'cute'? I thought this was a song contest and the idea was that you found a good singer with a good song. Our song isn't great this year but we do have a very good singer, therefore i'd hope that we weren't scraping the bottom of the leaderboard on the night as this would be an insult to his voice if not anything else.

@yyttroll Well it's a darn site better than the Russian entry, that's for sure! It's a fun, uplifting track that's not pretending to be anything more than that. Josh is an excellent singer and builds a good rapport with the audience. Not winning material, perhaps, but at least it's a foot tapper and song everyone can sing along to. I think it will do better than what people think.

@fnaas I can only remember Greece and Romania out of those 4 both of which are incredibly average and not as good as the UK when it comes to performing live. Your opinion sounds very bias. The UK like to have fun with its acts, the show is really popular over here again but we throw parties etc. Some Countries take it far too seriously. In my opinion it should be every 2 years.

Okay lol. I can agree that Greece is not as good as UK, but Romania is way better... Josh is better live than both of those countries singers, absoultely. Much better. But if you're a good singer but sing a very boring song. I'd prefer a great song with singers which is not as good. What do you mean I am bias? :S I am not..

Ok so first observations on that performance is Wow he is actually an amazing singer, i like pretty much everyone hated the original version of this song but there's no doubt its been improved pretty much 100%. Still not SAW classic by any means but to turn that shite performed on Your Country Needs You to something bareable is somewhat a miracle

They've really improved the verses which I think most people thought were strong anyway so that's good.

The chorus, however, is still too weak for me and that's a shame because with a decent chorus it would be a decent pop song.

Still better than a lot of the other songs but it won't be rewarded accordingly i'm afraid
