@5:22 I load the auto-save, and then about 15 seconds later, the game will freeze, no matter what direction I go in. Playing this on the 360, don't have any problem with any other game. Any thoughts? I haven't played HL2 in since mid-2008 or so, not sure if I have a profile saved still to be able to load from the start of the mission.

Honestly I buy used games of amazon. I got this for 9.99 + shipping. I haver over 25 games in which I played maybe an hour of. This game tho is the greatest game I ever played. It just amazing

@scenthi no its a stalker ,stalker is a normal person after a experience they have a high tecnology, in stalker's face have a mask and that mask have laser guns,but a while after the rebels destroy combine's lab so stalkers just go alone with no orders... their voice is like hunter from l4d1 or 2

It's a Crab Synth. And if you look around carefully on your second pod ride, you'll see a manta ray thing that's called a Mortar Synth. I haven't seen it but I've read that you might see it...

Try bringing your settings down a bit. If it doesn't help, de-frag your games.

I played it on my xbox, the whole game works fine except for that part. I really don't get it..

It's probably the disk, go rent it from blockbuster or something, see if it works and if not, it's the xbox itself.

No that's combine technology. Aperture Science didn't exist till Episode 2, my friend.

No it existed for a while because they had a rivalry with black mesa. My guess is glados might have flooded the enrichment center with a deadly neourotoxin when the combine invasion. Remeber she said the world was diffrent. I think this is what she meant.

Well they are definitely part mechanical because in the beginning of the level you see combines welding metal pieces on attack ships.
