It reminds me of the time when I accompanied a buddy of mine to his hometown of West Memphis, Arkansas and I saw a street sign that read "2th" Street. I mean, what in the world is a "2th" Street?
His waza is off the hook and I can see that he is not one to cross, either in the dojo or the streets. I once fought a student of Kosho-Ryu Kenpo at a tournament in San Diego, and he ate me alive. I'll never forget that. He had the fastest hands that I never saw. What I do not understand, however, is how can Hanshi Juchnik be the 22th Grandmaster of Kosho-Ryu Kempo? THAT is impossible. What the Hell is a 22th? That is such a flagrant violation of the English language. I can't help but laugh.
Met Juchnik at a seminar...Very gracious and kind man..Not too mention a REAL MASTER of the arts.. Makes it look liek childs play. His understanding of positioning and body mechanics/taijutsu is incredible.....More so he is a great teacher.....Juchnik rocks!
I trained many years with Hanshi Bruce Juchnik, I started with him when his title was Shihan Juchnik, back in the 80's and thru the 90's. I received my Black belt and was later ranked to Shihan, and then to Bucho in the healing arts of Kosho, by Hanchi Juchnik. I want all of you to know that Hanchi Jucknik is as real and true to the truth of martial arts than anyone I've ever known or studied under in my 40yrs experience
Nice video! Question, was the stick work portion Kosho? To me it seemed like Serrada. Each attack finshed with that counter lock motion that Angel was/is famous for. Much respect!
The stick work is using Kosho principles but I'm not surprised that you see a Serrada signature. Angel Cabales was Juchnik Hanshi's 1st Escrima instructor.
for the next video i might suggest a different sound track. the music on this made me grind my teeth. other than that keep it up. i would love to see more.
