Just fyi you dont have to insert a mixer first with the 14:2 mixer when you rewire ,your instrument will be on channel 2 instead of 3 with your first instruments and so on..

@optimuspricey Its impossible to do that. If Reason would allow VST instruments then it would be possible. May I ask why you like mastering in reason vs mastering in FL studio? I like doing it in FL Studio simply because you have way more plugins available to use.

@SargeBeats just think reasons sound engine sounds a lot cleaner and i'm not a fan of to much choice, think your more creative when your limited you can get lost in plug ins, managed to master the tracks using record mastering a stereo bounce of the tracks from fl studio, like you said mate there's no other way to do it

haha its all good. reason's instruments and the default sounds that come with them are pretty badass, and rewiring allows you to access all of them and sequence the resulting beats in FL studio. you're basically using reason as one huge ass VST plugin

U CAN USE REASONS GREAT INSTRUMENTS ON FL'S EASY 2 USE INTERFACE...plus u can still make a song with a sample but dont have 2 go and get recycle, one can just use fl's sampling techniques with reason's great instruments

reason aint a vst it dont even support vsts, It's a standalone program rewire is just a way to use it as a vst inside of another program. Theres really no need for it.

Can FL Sudio only handle 16 Channels of Reason? If i may setup some Effects, a Drumbox, four effects in Reason and some Synths with additional effects, then the 16 Channels are full. I know that ReWire is able to make port mappings above Channel 16. How can i access them by using Midi out on Fl Studio, or is it impossible?

now here is my problem, as soon as I select the client (reason) and click on 'show panel', I get the message "engine not responding. please check your re-wired host'.. so the problem is obviously FL, but does anybody got an idea what exactly the problem could be? would be happy about any answer! Both progams are running through the same audio driver. And everytime I try to press the button " Show panel" in Fl, the CPU load display is red and says 99!!! Could that be the problem? How to fix?

Aye-Yo. The problem i'm having is this. When i record my melodies within the MIDI-Out Channel that i create, when i hit play in FL Studio no sound from the MIDI-Out channel is coming through. Can someone please explain why this is happening?

On a side note this isn't a problem if i just use the MAIN Reason Rewire channel to record my melodies. I would love the option to record in seperate MIDI-Out channels though as intended.
