I own these monitors and have had them for 6 years. They are fine. You learn your monitors over time. I did some bass tests on them once with a friend and they went a little lower than the spec. I mix and whatnot w/ behringers and then listen to the mixes in my home stereo, w/ quality headphones, and in the car before I sell commercially. I do not use a sub. No mechanical problems yet..knock on wood.
Who is this guy ?...........Its like a cab driver explaining open heart surgery...He even admits he doesnt know what an active crossover is..and he does a review on electronics???......and I bet he doesnt have Mackies or Roland for that matter..The Behringers are actually his only speakers and he's ashamed to admit it ...kinda sad actually
Get the specifications right first !...The amp is 75Watts for the high frequency and 125 Watts for the low frequency. I've been using these in our studio and I love them ! Neutral clean and powerful sound !
"35 and 75 watt amp".....2030A......... NO...you r one of the reason that u can not believe what u hear on you-tube ...get the facts right " 75 and 150 watts" 2031A they sound great .......just like wine they get better with age .......I have four of then
dude your explanation for L-R filters is a little off. it is part of the crossover yes, but it is not a limiter. it is what determines the crossover point, how fast the EQ rolls off and at what frequency it starts to roll off. inversely for the tweeter it determines where and how fast it rolls back on. that way when those frequencies combine at the crossover point you don't get a 'bump' in the frequency response. nothing is altered other than amplitude. maintaining a overall flat response curve.
Behringer makes some cheap stuff. Perhaps some of it does not stand up to abuse on the road as well as other brands? But, the the quality of the woofer used in this unit was astounding for the price point and the design of the speaker overall is excellent. I don't think that you could fairly say that another brand/model of speaker (even costing 3x as much) is "better" without doing a blind listening test to compare them without bias.
ok.. should i save more money to get myself a pair of mackies? or should i get a pair of b2031a? or should i just use my existing hifi system to produce music? coz i'll still send my productions to a studio for mixing-down right after producing music.. help anyone?
@izaatmusic I would go for the Behringers. The 2031's actually measure very closely to the HR824's. I myself could not pick out an audible difference between the two in my treated room. At that point it's merely a cost issue.
@Melodnb i am gabriel and i intend to buy some monitores for a mini studio and i want some imformation about yours ner feald monitors .What test have u purchase with it and how it sound. Are they good?what level of profesional are u?Can i thrust in yours imfo about that speakers?Did u put them on a ffrecventy simulator program ?HOW IT IS REALLY THE EQ?have u a decent treat room where u have do it the tests? Please help me choose the right monitores for 200 buget per pice ...Thanck u +

With all the technical inaccuracies in this video, how can we expect his opinions and recommendations to be accurate?

Worst pair of monitors I ever owned, kept on blowing , also the bass has way too much color in them, for dance music at least they are utter shite.

hi i was wondering if 3031a have the same bass as 2031a or better? cause i had 2031a and they were quite bassy, so that's what i'm searching for.
