Well, I mean nothing against anyone who owns one. I don't like the fact that they run at a high RPM constantly, also for something that could possibly be running for days straight, they have a low oil capacity. I also believe their listed wattages are over rated. Yes the gen head may be able to handle a 20 Kw load but the engine will be laboring to it's max. Take the engine in the video with 50 or so HP pulling a generator advertised as 15Kw. A 20 Kw gen head would require about 27-28 HP...
........ I don't think that leaves the engine, which is basically a v-twin garden tractor engine, much breathing room if ya know what I mean.
Now, I have not had any experience with anything larger than their 20 Kw, maybe I should have mentioned this in the video. So I can not offer any opinion on their larger industrial sets.
We have those screaming briggs stand by generators for sale in the uk but people buy the lister start o matic generators out of schools and police stations for about 400 pound and they are near silent and use no fuel at all! there are so many of them in service still in the uk, good to see that you have some propper diesels still in use in the us too

@cfazekas0441 a small truck would be better, like a ranger or s10

Damn I'd build a shed around it and hook it up as a standby generator. That is a good size for your average house.
