She's a good tumbler, but I don't like when they do a full twisting double pike and then tuck right in a row...especially since she kinda bent her legs on the pike, it's like she did the same thing twice.

this is soooo bad...almost no choreo at all...that's so bad...her music from the last couple of years(from swan lake) was soooo much betteeeeerrrrr...
I like to see improvement in UB , really I applaud them but I don't like to see NO representation of Romania on vault. That is an apparatus that they really excel much better at than Bars. If I had to keep one piece over the other, i would keep vault but I know that with new COP rules the scores from UB make that difference in the standings for medals.
I don't agree with hiring a choreographer because I feel the Romanian style has come back now that Belu is gone. I think Forminate (spelt wrong probably) is doing a good job and I think we all agree that the late 90's dance style on FX was not the best but I do believe that Romania OWNS this apparatus. Their juniors are AMAZING on FX and really pay attention to Amelia Racea. Younger girls - Diana Bulimar,Larissa Lordache - OMG... A real threat you need to watch.

I don't know if Bitang is still choreographer - do you ? I will ask my friend (pritena) Mihai and let you know. I thought when Belu left she also left with him???? I am sure Belu would have worked with the girls for them to win gold on FX but look at how they have improved on UB under Forminate - they have to add difficulty to UB routines but check out Amelia Racea and Raluca Haidu - their lines on UB are beautiful - so is Ana Pogras but she hasnt competed this year.

Valer Puia is the Choreographer of the Romanian Team... already for a very long time ( don't know if he was already there in the 80'). And by the way the choreographer of the Chinese is also Romanian. ;)
Forminate treats the girls alot better, they seem to enjoy it much more...They bars is begining to improve too. Belu would never have understood Izbasa, a woman with curves, he called the gymnasts cows and liked them under weight. The reputation of B&B has had an impact because they numbers of parents willing to send their girls to gymnasts has fallen.
I agree the UB routines have really improved BUT then with the improvement of bars - the VAULT which Romanian were VERY strong in (Olympic title holders OR medalists in this apparatus , Euro Champs for number of years) has weakened. That being said - gaining strength in one apparatus to lose strength in another apparatus - it makes me sad to see Romania go downhill on vault where they have always medalled.
I know. This gymnast has that romanian seal of elegance, similar to Ponor's, Agache's and maybe even Silivas', Dobre's, Szabo's and Comaneci's. I really hope their coaches realize that and help this gymnast develop just as great as the name's I've just mentioned.
