Oh you poor thing - what are you trying to make anyway?? How many videos does it take for you to accomplish a simple task of cutting and gluing paper onto a cardboard heart shape? Project is still not finished in the next video titled Gluing A Napkin to First Heart!!!!

I don't know anything about decoupage but with this video... I still don't know anything.

Glue it to the surface (the heart shape) FIRST, then cut around it. Turn the heart over and do the same with the other napkin. Much more accurate, and definitely less fussy. It's easier and faster than the way it's shown here.
