I love this movie. But for some reason this ending is a little cheesy to me. It almost seems like they just wanted to throw the two towers in there at the end. But maybe it'll grow on me.

Thus, unlike the mideast and much of the world today, Americans have learned to bury the axe, get along, and become one nation.

Martin Scorsese's Gangs of New York is a true cinematic masterpiece, and these end credits featuring the music of U2 are breathtaking.

Although, I have to agree, the original soundtrack version of "The Hands that Built America" is much more powerful.
