I find jeopardy in faith metes itself out in my addictive sexuality. Why is that? Yet once questioned, I can never have the same faith.

A big thing i'd comment on with this one is knowing what prayer really is.... it's good advice to pray to God to overcome sex addiction but if you don't know what prayer is it's not gonna do anything for you. Prayer is not just talking at God it's also listening to Him taking some time to quiet yourself and just listen... God still speaks today and another point is reading the bible is NECESSARY for cleansing the mind so pick that thing up! It helps! I speak from experience LOL

@NeoQuello Well now you have :) It's legit i'm 19 years old and a female and i'm addicted to sex, porn, and masturbating... Alot more girls than you'd think struggle with it we just don't come forward about it because everyone says it's a problem that only guys have LOL so BS? I think not...

okay I need help with this addiction but also I am having an extreme crisis of faith I mean within the last six months I have actually started to dpubt my faith I really wnat help and to rekindle my realationsip with God if anyone has advice or words of wisdom please help me or share with me God has been such a big part of my life for so long I don't want that to end and if you have any advice about overcoming the pornography and masurbation addictions please share. thank you and God bless you!

well, if the problem gets too big for you to handle, maybe give your computer to a friend until you know you are sound of mind and body again. i don't know what you should do about your faith.

the best thing you can do is read your bible everyday and pray i'm going through the same thing just know you are not alone

I struggle with the same problem. I constantly look for women to have sex with. I am a Catholic and this compulsory behavior is ruining my relationship with Christ and affecting my responsibilities. Sexual addiction is very serious, and many Christians suffer from it. This bondage can be overcome, but not alone. What has worked for me is having an accountability partner and praying the Rosary. The Rosary connects us to the mind of Christ, which enables us to imitate Him and deny the flesh.

I am a sex addict, I look for sex all the time, going to clubs looking for women to have sex with, if that fails I'll end up paying for it. It is ruining my life, I wish I could turn off my desires but I don't know how.

What makes you saved is if you choose to believe. If you believe in god then you will love him and do what he says. Some sin more often than others but we all do. Many people who have addictions have hard time stopping but that doesn't mean their not saved. They know their sin is not ok with God.

@lifeministries what i hate about this video is that @9:44 even the christian woman said the 'men' are struggling with this secret sin. irritating she left out the women. what a liar! hate so-called ministries that refuse to deal with the truth about this being a woman's problem. you people who make these videos are a big part of the problem!!! i do not respect groups which perpetuate the secrecy. YOUR videos are the reason women won't come forward. in this sense, you are a real hinderance.

Question? How can someone say that they are saved or a Christian when they have a sexual addiction? Altough they may go to church, there god is sex, lust, etc. and not Jesus Christ. I hear people including some in this video say they are saved and I would disagree. Is not the purpose of being born again of Christ being delivered from bondage of sin. I am one also who has struggled with sexual addiction for over 20 years.

@Hopefl1 I would say the difference is this; a truly born again person will feel guilty everytime they sin because they are indwelt by the Holy Spirit and they are a new creation. An unregenerate soul does not feel any remorse. I have struggled with something for years and am now seeing the light of true deliverance but all those years, I never indulged w/o feeling guilty. Sometimes a person has to get to the place where they hate their sin so much that they gain a true heart of repentance.
