I like this ending, it Makes the Hero more human. We always get spoon fed this idealistic princely types who always do the greater good, ALWAYS. Am I the only one who thought this ending was actually pretty good?

I mean, sure, The Prince was a pretty big idiot for releasing Ahriman. But BAH! HUMBUG. This is the beginning of the new trilogy. He has plenty of time to defeat Ahriman.

Besides, now we know that there will be a sequel. They had better make it soon though. I'm dying to know what happens after the Epilogue.

This game doesn't have anything to do with those others. It is a whole different Prince. Awesome game and I really hope they make a part 2. I do not like seeing the bad guy go out QQ

I just finished playing this game, and I have to say the sense of Adventure in it is amazing and unmatched, the artistic style should I think be (more or less like the Ultimate Spiderman) an inspiration to more games, its light, sleek, smooth and awesome. Two thumbs up for the new Prince of Persia; cant wait for the sequel.

Love the ending, even if you play the game for nothing XD. But why poeple think he screw the world? The world they save is empty, no people reappears there's no one in this place, so why let elika die if they just save a what... a big tree surrounded by sand. Wonder what will happens in the next game though

I just know for sure that there's going to be another Prince of Persia. And this Prince wouldn't be the same type of game without Elika, so this is a good way to end the game and start off a sequel. I love this game, have it for my PS3.

i just know the rest of the series is them going to find a way to kill ahriman for good. maybe the find orzmand in the second, and finish ahriman in the 3rd.

this kinda reminds me of ffx, how tidus searches for a way to kill sin without yuna dying. I really like this ending just because it sets up a sequel based on real emotions and not a cheap cliffhanger.

I saw it coming that she had to die in order to seal up the evil guy. but for him to destroy the tree and release evil just to have get her back is not smart. she obviously hates him now.

Makes me wish we could at least hear what he's thinking (since he doesn't say a single word once he realizes shes dead)

but above all else, this could have been avoided if she had just told him she'd have to die. maybe she could get him to accept it and not release the evil.
