  • That man is an idiot he is showing how to get bitten, he is working will a small dog that is tied up so can't get to him, he is also teaching the dog that he is right to protect his food. I bet he wouldn't do that with a Rottie, GSD or any other big dog, he is a bully and like all bullies a coward. There are better and safer ways of teaching a dog not to be food aggressive than that,

  • GOOOOOOOOOOOOOD BOOOOOOOOOOOY GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD BOOOOOOOOOOOOY GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD BOOOOOOOOOOOY GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOY man LOL

  • wow, you guys have patience. i would kick the crap outta that first dog.

  • @blueshifter I wonder what your reaction would be if someone kicked the shit out of you, how would you feel if someone suddenly grabbed your plate of food from you, bet you wouldn't like it and would react like that dog.

  • bad dogs ^.^

  • Mike- do you know of any trainers that share similar ways of training as you??

  • Such Good Boys! training those dogs so well!

  • @mfrank165 finally someone who agrees its like giving a kid an ice cream sandwich every time he punches you in the face

  • nice job rewarding aggressive behavior

  • I wish my buddy did that I'm putting him down tomorrow :( bc I can't get near him I hate that so much I cant stop crying bc he is my first dog.

  • @CrazyFishFreak I am sorry you are having to pts your dog, unfortunately there are far too many trainers and behaviourists who haven't a clue when dealing with dogs with aggression, 99% of aggression is fear, we have to take the fear away to stop the aggression, the problem is How do we take the fear awa?" That clip is reinforcing the fear and not taking it away. They may stop the behaviour but it won't be cured, it could come back at anytime.

  • I love your work. Do you know of anyone in las vegas that could work with my aggressive GSD?

  • my dog gets aggressive to all of that but not with the food

  • @MrRinoboy I've found that acting aggressively toward a dogs aggressiveness only makes it worse, it gives a dog more of a reason to be aggressive, these people are just showing that there is nothing to be afraid of, but of you are hitting/spanking a dog and yelling at it when it bites, it may feel right, but it is not helping and is in fact making a dog more aggressive. I believe corrections are needed with most dogs, but if you have a very timid scared dog, then it will only make it more scared

  • This guy needs the Dog Master, Cesar Milan...

  • @chimandude

more like the other way around.

  • Wait wtf did that guy say about a submission hold on a dog? He was gonna hold it down to show it whos boss hahaha thats the funniest most retardest shit I have ever heard. Did you learn your moves from Royce Gracie? Ill have to remember that the next time a dog gets outta line. Maybe an armbar would be better suited? we could escolate the correction into a broken limb to show that motherfucker once and for all.

  • i like most of what i saw but i have to strongly disapprove of walking dogs off leash in city. Even the best trained dogs can be spooked or excited and when that happens, they could dart in front of a car before you can speak your stop command. I have 4 well trained dogs, and i NEVER walk them alongside a street off leash.

  • What's this? A dog other than a Rottie or German Shepherd is able to show aggression?! ;) (kidding!) I taught my Shepherd to be a tolerant guy, but FIXING an issue is a whole different level. Amazing. Rocky scared the heck outta me!

  • Hahahah @ the veterinarians are good sign hahaha

  • Geez, i really need a school's help or a professional's, my dog is becoming aggressive and i can't take him out for a walk because he attacks everything that moves... he also has anxiety behavior and if i try pulling the leash he starts to growl at me...

  • I'm not an expert but I watch a lot of Dog Whisperer, so shouldn't you be correcting the dogs? SHH, tug on leash?

  • this is interesting. i'm not a dog owner, but how expensive is this sort of corrective training, generally?

  • Man! Rocky didn't even growl that level 10 food aggression.

  • What kind of approach should you use with a dog that exhibits a very high natural prey drive when interacting with other animals? I'm not talking aboutan out of control aggressive dog that means business, but rather that inate laser focus expression, wrinkled forehead, and stalking gait.

  • I have a pitbull that hates his feet touched, when I go to clip his nails I have hell to pay so they don't get cut.

I have a lab that's severely dog aggressive, but if we're out in a public place like my school's vet program and I'm not in the room sometimes, she's not aggressive and other times she is.

How much does something like this cost?

  • u gta be a really patient person to work with dogs like this. Big up to u guys. i have a border collie she's not agressive but i have problems with her following me like that she bounces around and with the lead on she's fine util she sees another dog then she hops all over the place.... how did you get those dogs to walk with you so obediently?

  • I have an german shapard that burks and bits at bikes or fast moving things i tried the muzzle. What should i do? he is five but alot of energy...got him from the pound. sits stays and comes..very good..even walks off leash with no problem..but if someone runs past him he burks and the bikes down the road and he spots it he burks. i watch everyone of you guys videos and think you guys are the best...hope to hear from ya soon thanks

  • @GregAyuK1 Leash manners, Prong collar. Go to K9-1 Sign up if even just for a month you will understand leash manners and how to correctly apply them. You will also learn how to GENTLY and almost effortlessly proc your dogs reactions off the prong collar.

  • @GregAyuK1 Leash manners and prong collar. Go to K9-1.com and signup, if even for just a month you will understand leash manners and how to GENTLY and effectively proc your dogs movements off the prong collar to create a very comfortable synergy between you and your german shepherd

  • This is so good just remind people not to try and stroke strange dogs without checking with the owner! My dad used to always tell me that when I was little and I didn't understand for ages because all the dogs I knew of were very friendly :)

  • great video, do you have any clips for walking your dog calmly and training him to stop reacting to other dogs on walks? thansk

  • thanks! this is the first video that shows techniques and not just a guy talking about dogs. i don't want my golden retriever to become agresive this may help me thanks

  • any ideas how to deal with an agressive westie? barks/bites every time i go around to my nanas house, and they dont seem to do anything about it.

  • @MrLoadid I'd wear thick protective clothing, high top boots, and sturdy leather cloths, when ever you go over. Them I'd go in and claim the place. Problem is they don't give their dog and rules boundaries and limitations so therefore the dog is head of the household. Every time he come at you I''d hold him in a force submission on him back. When he calms down eyes looking away, or whimpers I'd let him up.

  • @ProphetGuardian This is a pretty foolish suggestion. If you alpha roll an aggressive dog, prepare to be bitten. It could help, true, but it could also make things worse.

  • @Ownfac3 To be clear as to what I'm suggesting. I was advising that if the dog is already attacking aggressively and attack you do this. I am not suggesting anyone approach a dog that is growling at you to put it in submission. I also know fool well the dog will bite when you do this. Which is why I also suggested protective clothing or gear. I only suggest force submission when a dog is acting on aggression.

  • @ProphetGuardian FIGHT TEH FIREZ WITH FIREZ

  • I can understand a dog being scared of being messed around with by a vet. But a dog so aggressive against the person who is giving it food? At least that lab showed signs of progress. Food aggressive dogs are very dangerous.

  • My dog is leash aggressive. She has been her whole life and we've had 5 trainers and an 8 week boot camp. How would you go about fixing this? We have another dog and she's fine with him, it's just strange dogs. I still walk her but I keep a close eye in all directions. She is very strong and is the Alpha of our "pack" and I do everything to try to fix this. She's fine at the dog park unless another dog tries to attack her. Please help

  • 30 sec ad?? REALLY?????

  • If you only listen and you have a dirty mind...

  • Great video....I enjoyed it very much :) Keep up all your wonderful work guys!!!

  • great guys

  • You are awesome. Thanks for posting this!

  • lol... kidna funny how dog's CAN get very aggressive when it coems to have any one near ther......food..... xD

  • I need to train my dog like this. My dog snaps @ ppl & dogs and goes crazy when ppl come over...jumping all over the place...I cant even walk her...

  • I am always arguing with my mother about an old problem: she had a dog which would not listen to her or her brothers and would always try to attack other male dogs. Only if my grandfather was around he would behave normally. I need to know: the dog seemed to have this agression problems since dog kennel would it have been possible for that dog to be trained to like other dogs and not attack them?

  • you should call cesar millan for training tips

  • Congratulations. one of the most amazing dog training videos for aggression - at least from what I saw! Respect to u for respecting animals and showing understanding. Everyone deserves a second chance.

  • How do people make their dogs so nuts?

  • Most of these problems cn be prevented, providing the owner has a clue. Show leadership rght from the start, establish yourself s Alpha. Thus, the dog has no problem if food is taken out from beneath his nose, etc. The reward is that if the dog sits quietly, he will get his food back. I do this right from the day I bring a new puppy home.

  • you need to claim the bowl rigth from the start and keep your body close to the food.

The dog is biting the glove waiting for u to open your hand ,he is not giving u space (respect u)

  • I'm curious why you wouldn't start the desensitization work at a lower level of intensity that kept the dogs below threshold?

  • @oneacd Because we are working mostly with the technique of "extinction" in the videos and "counter conditioning". Simple desensitizing wasn't going to be enough for these dogs, who already have serious aggression problems with bite histories, to be returned to their owners within a 2 month period - which was the duration of their program. We need to teach something to discourage the bite itself as well. Lifetime follow up is of course needed for best results - using mostly cc/d.

  • I saw that some people have been discussing about that 'my hand in your bowl' training. I think the idea is to show to the dog - not just that biting leads nowhere, but that that hand actually means more food, not less.

My dogs have always allowed me to touch their bowls, but if the find something outdoors... Well, it's eaten before I'm close enough. Should try to teach a reliable drop command for that.

I always get so sad when I see trouble dogs. That the trust must be taught to them.

  • AWWWWWW keeping her sisters comanyy? that's just cute..! :)

  • @KINGY963 Dogs are not wolves. They are domesticated, they rely on us to be their leader. I always practice taking away my dogs food. Think about it from this scenario. What if they stumble onto something they shouldn't be eating? Poison for example. Do you want to be able to snatch it away immediately, or do you want to try, get your hand chewed through and not only have to cover a hospital bill but a vet bill cause your dog swallowed poison?

  • @KINGY963 You are still the pack-leader for your dog .. No ones says you HAVE to take the food, but you should be ABLE ... big difference..

What would you do if you dog was aggressive like that, and your son/daughter tries to take the food?

  • wtf is this propagand intro video.....

  • my Belgian Malinois has people and dog aggression. He isn't afraid to bite. I can walk by someone fine but once I stop he is focused and attacks any tips?

  • How would one go about training aggression towards other dogs out?

My dog is 100% of the time in fight mode when it sees other dogs, tail goes up, hackles are raised and lots of barking, pulling on leash. His previous owners had tried sedatives, and also nutured him but no change in overall behaviour. Your suggestions would be very helpful.

  • goood job i like it but it takes too long time!!

  • This... is hilarious. You don't EVER let a dog bite you. And you don't EVER hit the dog to hurt it and mae it understand. Let me just make one thing clear. If you see any other video that says Dog TRAINING, say the hell away from it. Training is a human made-up method. Training is meant to be used for humans themselves only. Rehabilitation is for the dog. This video's methods are okay, but this is not guaranteed to work. You don't say, "Good boy," repeatedly, when the dog is excited or anxious.

  • @KidAnime20 You are an idiot. The point behind these methods are to teach the dog that there is nothing to be scared of. The trainers in the video allow to the dog to bite them so that the pup can see there is no change in the situation when it bites. The main theme here is that no matter what the dog does they can't get rid of the trainer by reacting negatively.

  • @Olegnya And that's fine. My point is that the behavior itself needs to be blocked. He didn't block the behavior (mental state), but just the physical part of it. Like I said, this video's methods are good, but still not 100% absolute that it will help. That's all.

  • @KidAnime20 So when the dog even for a split second is calm or fails to react in a negative way the trainer rewards it with verbal praise and a food treat.

A secret, if you are ignorant with regards to a specific topic it would be who of you not to make an ass of yourself on a public forum by spouting off the stupidity that brought this "training lesson" on.

    ~A CPDT-KA Training Instructor~

  • @Olegnya You can't just reward positive behavior that happens for a split second. And believe me, sounds and treats can give dogs another meaning to it other than reward. And treats and sounds are not necessary to get a dog to understand. Dogs don't understand what we say. They don't understand human language. It's just noise to them. And ignorance... I don't "spout off stupidity" unless I DO know what I am talking about. Being arrogant isn't any better than being ignorant, and you should know.

  • i like that whole respect understanding and patience thing they said bc that goes for all dogs and thanks for not including just one breed.

  • i personally think they trained them wrongly by not letting the dog know its wrong to bite in the first place

  • you guys are dumb. if my dog ever barks at me or someone else all i do is hit it really hard and it understand and walks away to a corner.

  • @holypaladinpewpew hmm not smart man i can see thats how your parents did you too right no offense, i spank my dog in the thigh but only enough to let him know he did wrong but thats after ive warned him like 3 times not to do something and also i use a deep angry tone bc you shouldnt always have to lead to physical violance when trying to teach.Trust me they'll get a clue once you do things the right way repeatedly.

  • goooooooooood boyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy goooooooooooooooood boyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy

  • i would just take the bowl off him...and give it back only when hes calm ....thats what i always do with dogs who doesnt let ppl touch their food and it works pretty well

  • Well what i see, is when the dog attacks you.. you say "good boy!" then you give him a treat, So really your rewarding him for attacking you.. there shouldnt be no touch talk or eye contact or rewards till the dog backs off and sits or lays down and lets you have the food.

  • I have alot of respect for these trainers. Their ability to remain calm with a dog that might rip his head off is unbeleiveable.

  • My (white headed) dog is reactive mostly because he is from bad breeders who just tied him outside since he was a young puppy and for the most part ignored him. If he got any socialization it was with kids. Any dog interaction must have been mixed. They said he was teased a lot. He liked other border collies and will be very submissive to them, but those OTHER breeds...? I've had him since he was 7 months. Seems like the Gentle Leader may help me walk him around in a more controled manner.

  • what is the name of the treat you will give him or her

  • where do you buy gloves like that? I need a pair, and how much are they???

  • I often wonder how these dogs get so aggressive! I wonder if the owner has or does traumatise them or they've had a bad experience.

  • how do i get my dog to stop acting aggressive to dogs that come into our house?

  • @LesPaulRockerProduct they wont stop being aggressive at random dogs that come in the house.... they are just trying to protect the house and they think they are the boss of the house

  • The first dog has issues...he deliberately enjoys biting. He is making a game out of it. Wow.

  • I like your methods! I think the gloves idea works well. I have my own amateur videos showing how I helped my dog, but I realized every dog is different and sometimes gloves or other methods are needed.

  • I do not agree with the first dogs food aggression. It seems that when after he attacks your hand, you open it up almost right after for a food reward saying good boy? Isnt this just re-enforcing his bad behavior?

  • @angelt703 Thats a common misconception actually. I used to believe the same thing. What happens though is if you change the behaviour, it leads to a change of the emotional state behind the behaviour. I believe what they where doing was a combination of basically letting the dog see that biting gets you no where, and when you back off, you get a tasty treat! So hand coming towards you no only doesn't leave when you bite it, but that hand also equals good things such as food.

  • LOL "Veterinarians are good!!" in the background for the dog with the checkup phobia

  • SO amazing! lolz thanks for the great video!

  • While I agree with the reward based training I do see some possible issues with the first dog continuing to react. The more a dog reacts, the lower the threshold each successive time. The first dog kept escalating his bite intensity. With time, the dog may bite less, but there's a possibility that the actual bite intensity could increase. Interesting use of the protective padding.

  • Awesome stuff...wish I could get my Deaf border collie mix to not try and eat strangers or cats!!

  • I like this training! I would do it similar.

  • welcome to peekskill!

    my home town

  • i would bite you if i was that dog.

  • amazin how u taught the dog not to go after the toy...congrats

  • Excelent video!!!

  • I find an electric dog collar works wonders with dogs that misbehave. Try it.

  • I find an electric dog collar works wonders with dogs that misbehave. Try it.

  • impressive

  • u dont train very well. Even on very low levels shock collars are inhumane. they make the dog fearful.

  • ha ha, i hope he bites your throat... you sick dog people, you have a retardation. FUCK YOU!

  • my dog does the exact same thing rocky does.. i had to give it away to a trainer to train it cos it bit me twice under the eye on both sides i look like a foot ball player with those black marks under the eye but i jsut have scar's now lol my dog was born aggresive i tried doing every thing but i failed in doing so =/ so i just gave up on traininghim my self and let some one train him and live with him for a while it was for the best cos my dog made my life happier but it was a lot of work

  • My dog is possessive over tennis balls. He is fixated when I get one out, so i tried making him wait and leave it before i threw it, but he still won't drop it. At first i tried to take it from him and he got aggressive, so i corrected that, but now he just backs away with the ball. I can eventually chase him down and after offering him a treat he reluctantly drops the ball, but as soon as he gets the treat or if he doesn't get it straight away, he runs back to the ball. What else can i do?

  • @tommart123 Try 2 balls? Throw your ball and the dog should drop his ball and you can pick it up when the dog is after yours. You can keep him in a long leash. One thing is if you get him to bring the ball to you, throw it again. Though it's your job to end the game. Anyway, giving a ball to you should mean a new throw for the dog and only occasinally loss of it. When a dog tried to keep her ball I ignored her. For a new throw she had to give the ball to me. No co-operation, no throw, no fun.

  • This is amazing and encouraging

  • you guys are awesome!!!!

  • Hi my dog is a Chipin (Chihuaha and Min Pin). Whenever I have company over he will jump on them and bark at them. Even if we put him in his crate and I go downstairs to open the door he will go crazy.(He is a guard dog also he thinks he's bigger than he actually is as well) What can I do to let him know we are safe? Please Help. Oh then on top of that we are going to introduce him to a new dog that will join our family, and he gets jealous even if I pet our cat.

  • My husky is nowhere near this aggressive. I put food on the floor and pet her as she eats, but she does growl and tense up a bit if I pet her nose. What do I do?!

  • Wow!! This is an amazing video! But how did you get the dogs to follow you so accurately?? and even to sit down when you stop etc... that's simply amazing!

  • @tanya9nithreus yeah i aint figured that one out myself either. can walk him off the lead but he always ventures a metre or 2 away. almost there with the sit bit though took 4 yrs lol

  • @boontime 4 years??? =O woahhh xD haha! that's long! =P. i'm not sure how it would take me, probably also around that much haha xP.

it's amazing what they did there xP. they should probably open a class for people.. i'm sure it would be really popular ahaha xD. =].

good luck with the rest your dog still needs to learn ;D =)

  • these are very talented, patient young men. wonderful dog people. 5 stars for them, the dogs, and the vid!^^lol

  • Wouldn't treating them reinforce the aggressive behavior? The dog was snarling when you gave it the treat .. lol

  • I need some help or advise. I have a half bull terrior and pit i think solid white two black eyes. I rescued her because they were going to kill her. Well she has anger issues in that when she is around other dogs she wants to kill them if they get an attitude. I mean kill, she attacked my moms cocker. She is loving with people and kids but hates dogs.I have other dogs and i want to get her to socialize is that possible?

  • For the Lab, Is it not the flood technique? 'Having the dog face his fear'?

    Old school!

  • this is good. many dogs are put to sleep for having scary but easily solved aggression problems. although, it takes a big heart to leet a dog bite you, glove or not ;}

  • Any one know how to deal with a dog who attackes you when you try to mave her by the collor i have had so many bites because of it. She bevhaves fin other times but not when i try to move her! I bleeding know because of it help!

  • @kuriboh400 I kept a house line on them if there is danger of that so you can move them if needed. Use clicker training to make a collar grab fun and teach a 'off' or 'move' command. I had the same problem with my girl on the sofa but I taught her 'off' by luring her off the sofa and rewarding on the floor, then faiding out the lure and now she happily jumps off the sofa, and even asks to come up instead of just jumping up

  • Good boy Rocky!

  • Amazing.

  • that dog is still bad ass though he's soooo feirce

  • I love this training, how do I get my rat terrier to accept my puppy who is 6 weeks into the pack, and not be teritrial over his things?

  • where did you get the gloves? what kind are they?

  • "vetenarians are good!!" in the background. lol!!

  • this is amaizing!!!

  • I think your methods and philosophy (what can be seen from your website) are top notch. I will have to come see you guys in NY as I have been looking for a balance between the gamey hyperactive training I see in french ring, and the other methods like Koehler.

  • hehe i dealt with a food agressive white pit no joke when she growld at me i growld back and she totaly respected me never tried to bite weird i wasnt expecting that to happen but it worked lmao

  • Nice work. Though I personally would have dealt with the food aggression differently. Your methods still worked.

Its nice to see a nice balanced training.

I agree that too many dogs are put down due to aggression, though not all people have the skills, or money to get the dog properly trained.

  • How do I deal with a territorial rat terrier. who is snapping and drawing blood on my 6 month old puppy

  • continued

and every one has been telling me to put him down...I don't have the heart to do that...What would you suggest I do...Is he too far gone to be trained?

  • K91dogtraining...My dog is a shitzhu...10 yrs old...From the very first time we got him he started biting me...I believe it was because I smacked him on his behind because he peed in the house...Every since that he has been biting,..Only me though...He has bit me seriously about 6 times...Last night was the worse where I was giving him a kiss and he bit and held on to my nose and wouldn't let go...I pinched his ears to get him off...I needed stitches...I feel so hopeless when it comes to him

  • You shouldn't have spanked the dog for peeing in the house to begin with, because now it associates you as someone to fear. It bites out of fear. Are you moving too fast for the dog's comfort? Move more slowly and have a treat in your hand. Show your dog the treat and move slowly towards it saying, "Good boy." When your dog looks mad, pull away. Every time it relaxes, tell it good boy and move closer with the treat showing. When you get close enough and your dog doesn't growl, treat it.

  • The dog should be on a leash when outside on a walk. Common sense.

  • For the safety of the public.

  • lol i'd lauph if the dogs just jumps up and latched on to there face and not the glove LOL that would be hilarious

  • I liked this video alot---BUT, I tried to train my 12-year-old Chow/Shih-tzud mix in all different places (park, downtown street, pet shops, ect.) and she won't take treats from me. So, I find it difficult to train her in public places like that---I have learned that she's not very treat motivated, or toy motivated so it's definitally tough trying to get her attention long enough to train her in places like that. When we're downtown, she's an angel---besides barking at everyone when in the car.

  • @rbaid161 Dogs don't eat when they are stressed. So she could be stressed out. I would try taking her to those places and just walking, not training. Getting her used to different environments is the first step. Then you can start the real training.

  • More then likely she is; but, I've been taking her out in public places to go for a walk for the past couple of years now (Going out a couple of times a week---or sometimes once a week or every other couple of weeks) and still won't accept treats. If she does, it is very rare. And she won't eat it unless she's back in the car. So I do just walk her in those places, and don't really worry about training her; so maybe she's just too old, and wants to stay home now.

  • Hm that could very well be.. Does she have a favorite toy, or bed at home? If so take that to a park or sidewalk to help make it more "Homey". If she still doesn't eat the treats, maybe its not stress, but something medical..?

  • this is why whenever one of my pups were eating, i would pet them, put my hands in the food bowl, and hand feed them. i never had a problem with aggression when i did this :D but sadly, i no longer have a dog lol : /

  • thats the wrong way to training your dog people

  • k91dogtraining - do you think any dog can be rehabilitated given enough time and training or do you think some dogs are just 'too far gone'?

  • There is so much talk these days about what method is best and who the best trainer is. Its been my experience that what is best is what the dog responds to positively without the need for beatings. I have 2 german shepherds - one rescued, the other I had as a pup. I have not used food training, but have trained them both in totally different ways as they have completely different personalities and respond to different things.

  • The basics are the same tho, but I find what works with one, may not necessarily work with the other. With my rescue dog, it has been a lot of trial and error and there is still a long way to go with her. I may never get to the bottom of her aggression issues because I dont know enough of her background - but I keep trying everything and continue to work with her. The other one is fantastic and is a very gentle and friendly dog. Keep up the good work K91 - whatever works is the best way!

  • I have a Bandog who will not except being around other dogs. He is real dominate and he is nuetered. He has to own everything or else he fights.

  • me to except mine is aboston terrier/cockerspainiel mix

  • I have broke every dog I have ever rescued from food aggression. These people put these dogs down for this shit thats sad its a small problem. I use my mean voice and give I mean buisness vibe and at the end of the day its all better no food aggression.

  • I agree Carnypimp - too many dogs get destroyed because people do not want to take the time with them or overeact to bad behaviour.

  • When my dog was food agressive and bited after me i just took him by the neck and forced him down on the back and screamed at him, that worked for me :) now he allmost gives me hes food :D

  • Where can i buy this glove ?

  • Cesar Millan's methods are a lot quicker have you ever used them.

  • the quick way and the best way are rarely the same way. big difference between dragging a dog along on a tight noose and the dog actually understanding off leash what you are speaking to them. besides that alpha rolls, neck jabs, butt kicks, etc go against the guidlines of this style.

  • I agree with what you do But I find Cesar Millans methods great, It sounds terrible the way you put it Neck Jabs Butt kicks ect. I think in a way if the dog is cured at the end of the training then it's the correct way for that particular dog. I love Cesar and what he does. So I could never say anything bad about him. I cant say Im the perfect dog owner cause I screw up 100x with my dog and he lets me know. Its just ive tried rewarding and comforting him and it just makes him worse.

  • @Gippygoosehead Cesar Milan makes it look so easy.

  • @Gippygoosehead i agree

  • wow i don't know if i think this is a good thing or not... putting a dog in this siuation only makes it esculate, and put the dog in a huge amount of stress :-S

  • oh my goodness! MY DOG NEEDS YOU!

  • I love this video

  • hey check out my video of an agressive dog that i helped... i go about it in a different way though

  • i disagree with Mrsmiley, from what I see he is placing the dog in this aggressive state on purpose to judge the way the dog is reacting and to gauge the extent of the issue. I dont believe you can rehab an aggressive dog if you dont know what is triggering it, and even though he is sticking his hand and getting bit hes reasuring the dog his food is safe and there is nothing to worry about, and over time and consistancy the dog see that too and realizes no one is stealing his food

  • I love this video! Thank you for posting. It reinforced how important positive reinforcement is!

  • I have a pembroke welsh corgi with some food aggression/territory issues. Any ideas or tips on how to fix this? It's not so bad that she'd bite, but I don't want it to become worse. She's really a sweet dog.

  • where are you located

  • awesome work! thank you

  • i loved watching your videos..i love to do work like that with dogs

  • wow. :D

the first dog, is like my Shih Tzu lol. But it's amazing how you guys trained them all so well. And with Dakota I think? My shih tzu is like that if you touch his paws. I'm going to try to train him, since you trained a six year old dog to be obedient, I don't think three years old would be that tough. :)

  • Super work--I also use positive reinforcers when working with aggression....
