This games are easy: touhou, mushihime, dodonpachi, etc. your hitbox are small as an enemy bullet, so you cant get killed so easy. I own this game on the PS2 and a friend of mine was making fun of it playing it backwards just moving and shooting randomly and he didnt got killed like for 30 sec. My hyphotesis is: Japs made this kind of games just to showoff and pretend being good at videogames: "oh im so otaku". try raiden fighters series, those are way harder: Hitbox:AllShip, bullets: just see.

You still need extreme precision to beat danmaku games like Touhou or Mushihime,its very easy to get killed if you dont focus even if you have a very small hitbox,try actually playing like touhou on lunatic and see if its so easy.
