  • fire that guitar tech.

  • Man he was wild... would have loved to have seen him in his prime. Thanks for your great music and undeniable legacy Ted.

  • @brokenbread7

I was at this concert. It was a trip, he had been big game hunting in Africa, he flew back on the Concord and repelled from a helicopter to the stage. He was good but you could tell something wasn't right. He was cerainly burnt from the time change and travel. Look how black his eyes are he was probably sleep deprived at this point.

  • want to touch the heiny

  • Love this song, but if you're going to take the time to tune your guitar on stage, you might as well get it right. And then fire your guitar tech.

  • @2000om28v yep but thats how things kinda were in those days. I remember Deep purple taking some time to warm up and tune in #1

  • I was at this concert!!!! Thanks for posting it!!!!

  • @jwright621557 Me too. Hitchhiked down from Seattle for the show.

  • here is my city ontario ted is a genius about music but is a totaly red neck racist m...f...r

  • just one comment ..... GONZO !!!!!!

  • Was is the optimal word here. He is playing for 10 bucks in San Antonio next week which to me shows a man in serious decline. He is and was a politcal hack and douche bag but a musical genius.

  • @tracybogert1963 They got their money's worth. I saw him for $30 last year & he blew everyone away...a steal! No, he's not like he was here in his peak, but his guitar-playing is still very good. Like many 70s artists, eventually their new albums stopped selling, band splits, his politics probably hasn't helped, but people are still wanting to hear this kind of rock n roll. The small venues are great for old fans who never got to get close to the stage & to really see that finger-picking.

  • @Grendelmonster8u I was going to say, too, some of them don't mind playing in these small venues for a price everyone can afford. They get real close and intimate with their audience. Ted had his days of 300K audiences, no one can take that away from him. If you look at videos of 2010/2011 shows you'll see positive comments about his show and it rocking. I can definitely say he rocked, as well as his bass and drum players.

  • whatta douche

  • The last concert with his best band, was never the same after this concert. His albums were garbage and his shows started to go downhill. He should of kept his ego in check, but how could he? All that pootang and money, he was GONZO.

  • Ted was the ultimate performer!
