Mother of God is not wrong. Let me use logic here. Jesus is God. The second person of the Trinity. Mary gave birth to Jesus Christ. Through her the Word became flesh and dwelt amongst us.
This title does not mean, she is the Mother of the God, the Father, or God, the Holy Spirit. This title means she is the Mother of God, the Son. Second Person of the Trinity.

To deny that Mary is the mother of God is to deny Jesus of his divinity.

Saying that Mary is not the Mother of God is heresy that the Council of Ephesus condemned. When you say that, you are separating Jesus's Humanity from his divinity. Something that I don't think you want to do.

"Mother of God" is wrong. It would be more appropriate to say "Mother of Jesus, who is God."

Saying that Mary is not the Mother of God is heresy that the Council of Ephesus condemned. When you say that, you are separating Jesus's Humanity from his divinity. Something that I don't think you want to do.
