If I'm not mistaken, the frequency won't work in yr country.hopefully u won the bidding.

  • @lovemyself71 All I know is that was retired from toys and used only by the militaries, police and state security groups. Yes, I hope win it too.

  • @fury

My model is F150 exactly like yrs.

  • @fury

Mine is red one from Singapore Toys are Us.

The year was in the 80s,if I'm not mistaken it was around 1988-1990.

  • @fury

    I'm sorry mine was 40.685MHZ.

I still have the remote control in working condition as for the electronic board still in the car.if you want it I will cut the wire n u will have to solder it again using yr old wire.

  • @lovemyself71 Thank you. Today I've found a seller on ebay, and I'm gonna try to win the bid. In case I won't, I'll contact with you. ;)

  • @fury

I think u got to duplicate the electronics from Ottwa remote, and apply it on compatible remote.try to convinced him then. :)

  • @lovemyself71 He doens't answer, so I've to still looking on ebay or have a lucky strike.

  • @fury

The 49m was hard to find I suggest u have to change remote-set to a new one(customized ) as for mine was built customized but the person whom do it ,sadly had passed away few years ago,now the motor got burned due to over tuned I guess. Hmmm thanks for yr advised,I will try as u suggested.

  • @lovemyself71 Above all, be carefull with screws and plastics during disassembly, because you can break pieces easily.

  • Yo fury ,I have the Red 1,but can u show me how to take out all the rims n the motor.becoz I need to replace the rims n mod the motor.n mine is 27mhz.

I really wanna keep it on the road again,it's a good monster.

  • @lovemyself71 Hi there! To take out the rims you must wet them with water and scratch them with your nail softly. That's the way I did it. And, to take off the motor, you must release the body taking out the screws that there're under the chassis. Once you remove them, the motor has two clips inside the hood wich you must separate to release it. It's normal you'll see a squared hole after the removing. After all that, you'll have the room to replace trims and work on it.

  • @lovemyself71 By the way, Can you say me where I can find a remote in a 49.860Mhz frequency for the red one? In Spain, where I live, it's quite difficult to find one. I've searched on Ebay, but I didn't find anything.

  • Would you be intresed in selling them?

  • @gp26900 I'm very sorry, but the black one has a big sentimental value and it's not for sale (was my dead brother's car). The red one has no remote, and I'm trying to find one to make it run. By the moment, none of them are on sale. But maybe, you can help me to know which could be the right remote frequency from the red one. It's a Sears Lobo purchased in USA by Ebay (if you need more details, read the comments I left). I need to know that stuff before put it on sale in case I decide it.

  • @FURY1958 I have the red one, the frequency is 49.860

  • @ottawaP5 I only need the controller with that frequency, but I can't find one. Do you know any place via internet where I can purchase one? In Spain, where I live is quite impossible to find one in a 49.860Mhz frequency.
