  • Coranti Antivirus New version 1.3.1 they say thats faster and lighter can you test it

  • Comment removed

  • languy coranti es falso....en infospyware han habido muchos casos de cuentas de correo robadas, entre otras cosas...no me da mucha confianza este producto

  • 260,000K!!!! Woah that is way too much.

  • Now that's heavy

  • It seemed to do ok on malware detection, it may have found more if it had finished scanning. They do need to improve performance though

  • The worst antivirus which ever existed/exists.

  • hey languy, love the reviews. one criticism, i would not ever run a windows 7(or vista) vm on 512mb of RAM... i would give it At least 1GB and i would turn off UAC to speed things up and i would also consider giving it 2 cores. if you only have a dual core then fair enough.

  • @pickyantivirus it does have one gig

  • @languy99 thought it had 512 lol sorry, What is the hard drive doing when runing this? going mad i bet. looks very unstable, like i said thanks for the vids and if u have a x3 or x4 core, i use 2 cores on my VM. mind you your vids are usually fine, just a very unstable program with a possible RAM leak :S

  • @languy99 My parents know nothing about computer but they only know how to go to emails search on googles and see youtube viedos, can you recomend me any antivirus thats is auto detect and remove and also best site advisor.thank you

  • @pickyantivirus UAC has zero performance impact. Also, task manager is inaccurate for reporting ram use by a program. More accurate to show what your ram use is on bootup without any programs in startup (120mb for instancep), then install the app, reboot and show ram usage then. This is way more accurate.

  • @heelhook80 UAC does have a massive impact, it delays loading times and if your on a slow machine the screen goes black for a while, i have experienced this multiple times and i just disable UAC and the whole pc runs smoother. I'm a tech for god sake from experience i can tell you what does and doesn't happen.

  • @pickyantivirus Its common knowledge that UAC doesn't impact performance. Your rational is about as solid as me saying to remove the volume icon from the taskbar, I'm a tech and from my experience this makes the pc faster.

  • @heelhook80 ofcourse so having to wait for windows to realise that it needs to send you the message to tell you "do you want to open" and the whole screen going black for 2 - 3 seconds on old machines doesn't slow it down at all. Dickhead.

  • @pickyantivirus taking a second to answer a message is a whole different story than "a massive impact, it delays loading times and if your on a slow machine the screen goes black for a while", I have spotted you as a fraud in one short post dickhead. UAC is built into windows just like some basic audio drivers, has nothing to do with bootime, ram usage, i&o usage, cpu usage, durrrrr

  • @heelhook80 considering it disables some of the start-up items because you haven't accepted the UAC at boot up, and the fact that on a laptop i worked on like i sad 3 fucking times the screen goes black instead of the app just loading straight away, and once disabled the whole system ran smoother because i wasn't getting 20 - 30 UAC warnings to do things.go give a vm 512mb ram and 1.7GHz and tell me it doesn't slow it down, oh yea and a 5000RPM HDD

  • I have bought Comodo Internet Security 2011 COMPLETE, was it a good choice? :)

  • @broddersamse Good choice, espicially if you do get malware, COMODO will auto fix it for free up to $500

  • You spelled antivirus wrong in title

    nice review tho

  • I have never seen a security software uses too much RAM. Great review! Thanks a lot!

  • My avast consumes 2400kb of ram !!!!

  • @ka17rim You definetly smoked some crack.

  • @2dayCA You smoked shit Ö

  • wow world record first antivirus i see to use more ram than avg 2011

  • 256MB!? holy shit.. lol

  • Not light this AV but may be it's also the VM a little bit;) More than 2 engines is good

but not on the host for me:

    multi engines+cloud=my dream :)

  • Coranti- It hasn't got a HIPS so it's CRAP! It is also a freaking RAM hog.

  • @bbbbweb it hasn't got a HIPS because it's multi-engined u sucko

  • @bleekled So what's the use without a HIPS. It means zero-day malware can easily beat it

  • F-Secure Client Security 8.01 Uses 200MB of RAM in standby.

  • Hi languy99, enjoy your reviews...

How much base memory have you allocated to your VM?

  • @OVERANGRY 1GB I think

  • This suite sucks as I can see

  • XD Lavasoft

  • Coranti Antiviurs 2010 is a ram hog

  • nice vid man as always keep up the good work

  • nice vid. too heavy antivirus does it have a firewall or something for zero day threats?
