  • Good job! Nice divesite and nice dive... 8)

  • very nice and very impressive.

whats the deepest you've ever gone?

  • @Saix408 47m. two days before this dive.

  • @NitramRellim that was cool and at the same time scary to dive in a canyon

  • awesome! Only wish I can do this one day

  • I'm a SCUBA diver! I want to do free-diving like those, someone teach me =P!

  • just try in a pool, see how far underwater you cans swim, you should be able to do 50 m no problem

  • 3 down. I went in first, Elisabeth followed me and then Daan went last with the camera. We shot the video after carefully assessing the dive site and after passing through for a couple of times.

The most critical part of the dive is the ascent. The timing allowed me to assist if anything went wrong with either of them and they covered me.

  • how can you ascend that fast from 30 meters without feeling bad?

  • so inspiring .........well done, well done

  • Elios's suit + Aquasphere Sphera = nice stuff

    esle nice video !

  • Congratulations!

I know this spot quite good.

    It looks great!

I once went down by snorkle to the upper cave but stonefish blocked the way in.

BUT goin in in 27m is impressive! :)

I love the the red sea!

  • hey i impressed with this video!

i am 15 years old and my best depth is about 7 meters.

do u know any excersizes to free dive longer and deeper?

  • you only have to go slow and pracrise a lot. Its also important not to smoke. im 16 i i can go 25m.keep practicing,.

  • Nice !!!

I do prefer scuba diving :)

But i have a BIG RESPECT to free divers !!!

    Imasing !!!

  • can i look on tutorials on youtube to learn how to free dive? today i dived in 2 minutes :D

  • it's seems hard to film underwater!

  • you guys rock.

  • Very very great. Nice couple dive, could be heavy to folow you with camera.

  • You should be freediving to film that. Then, It's not too difficult.

  • I can only dive 12 meters. How can you dive that much deep?

I want to learn how to do that.

  • You should take a course then. I'm sure you can do that too if you really want. Just keep swimming... ;)

  • How did You changed you masks underwater?

perhaps it is collecton of separate clips?

  • Noone is changing masks. The surface parts are different clips cut together, the dive itself is in one piece.

  • Whats the name of the song????

  • The song is "Right here right now" by Fatboy Slim

  • I can only dive to 20 meters :(

oh well I am still learning, and great vid by the way

  • man that is so class!!

i scuba dive but freedivin look so so much better!!

  • just take a course... it is so easy... all my scuba gear is covered with dust for 3 years now...

  • cheers. im movin to oz 2mora! im try it out! thanks.

  • wow, there are just so many cool things to see in dahab! I might drop by egypt for a week on the way to poland this summer

ive gone freediving in ~25 meter deep reefs and i was comfortable with it (and yeah, lol, it usually is scuba territory.. one guy almost spat out his regulator when he saw me show up with my spear sling, cause the water was a little murky down there.)

good times.. i hope i can get to dahab while i'm there and freedive these formations.

  • good luck with that... but remember, never dive alown. Speros tend to forget about that...

  • yeah.. not gonna lie, i do have a tendency to do that.. but usually only in water a few hundred feet from shore and only a few meters deep. Stuff like this I'm a lot more careful about though, because in shallow water, when you feel like you're out of air, its a few kicks to the surface. In water like this though.. what you have left may not be enough.

I'm thinking of upping to a mono, what do you have? the andronov type are seriously expensive.. I'm thinking just a waterway M1 L or M2 L.

  • I see you've done your homework... I use the waterway model 2 middle stiffness. Best fin to start with.

  • yeah lol I've been lead in circles.. no stop to the confusion.

When you recommend M2 MD, what disciple do you have in mind? I hear they burn up too much oxygen for constant weight, but work better in dynamics. Seeing as actual reef/lake diving (what I'm primarily focused on) is a mix of both.. I'm not sure which i should head for. I don't want to overpower an LD, but spending hours in the water with a MD might hurt ability to stay out for extended periods of time, ruining the experience...

  • Great Video.

What is the title of the song?

  • I actually forgot to put that in the credits... It is "Right here, right now" from Fat Boy Slim.

  • Looks by speed a camera-operator was a a freediver too???

  • Yes, all footage was taken freediving. Otherwise you'd be too slow. I had to realize that holding the camera steady while diving with a mono fin is practicly impossible. So for shooting, always go for bi fins!

  • 100% agree, the best camera hold I can make only with bi fins

  • An amazing visit to the canyon in Dahab!

  • cool ;)
