Hey thegrindzonw, I was able to install the MacOS skin but I was not successful with the dock. The install for the dock looked like it wen fine, but the apple in the upper left hand corner is very small (almost a dot) and when I try to click on the small apple logo, I don't see the menu other than the icons from Ubuntu on the left side of the screen. I've restarted and shutdown fully and booted back up but still no dock. Any ideas?

The AWN dock is already included in the Intrepid repository, so you can easily install it by clicking this link. Alternatively, you can also type the following command in the terminal:

sudo apt-get install avant-window-navigator Google it its a cool dock this one in the video was just a "all in one" so it made simple for noobs.Let me know if Awn works for you

@thegrindzone I tried the command you have above. It still did not wok, so I googled the Avant Window Navigator. It seems there was a AWN in the Ubuntu Software Center called 'DOCKY'. I did notice some others AWN's in the Ubuntu Software Center. It seems two were already installed. So I uninstalled them and used 'DOCKY', and it worked. I'm not feeling the DOCKY though as it's just not that responsive especially if I choose one of the widgets like weather and then a program.

@thegrindzone As I was saying the 'DOCKY' seems buggy and although it looks like the dock you have in the video, I'm not sure it's the same. Also, how do I remove the left launcher panel? My apple on the upper right is still a dot and no menu's popup when I click on it. Any ideas. Thanks,

@Jamesthevetteman yea mine s docky,works fine for me,if nothing try awn if you cant get it working,the left panel is unity and i wouldnt delete it,best way to get rid of it is when you restart your computer on the login screen click the drop down and select classic...............The menu and dock aint showing? i say reinstall it

I was able to download Macbuntu-10.04.tar.gz. Now I just have to figure out how to run this in a terminal. If you can provide that info I would greatly appreciate it.

Not sure what I'm missing. I'm on day two of Ubuntu/ Linux experience. Installed it on my kids old laptop. I got tired of cleaning all the malware and virus's off their computer every 6 months even with antivirus software installed.

@victoranandarajjason once you install it the "toolbar" shows up there just click the logo,not sure how to make it bigger once its installed besides reinstalling it cause when installing it theres a option to set the logo big
