This is definitely The Hues Corporation. They did this song and two other songs on the soundtrack for the film. Later they were offered a recording deal. The didn't have an official name yet at the time of filming. LOVE THE TIGHT PANTS! I was shocked at how much we could get away with back then. Clearly the brotha ain't wearin' no drawers!
Hee, Hee...I never noticed brotha wasn't wearin' any draws! Just ordered Blacula twin set on dvd from Amazon...when it arrives, I can pause and get a closer look!!! This is truly a classic...Vonette McGee was smokin' back in the day!!!!!!! Peace.
This bitch must have got a big ass check-cause she was taking no prisoners singing this song-I was on the floor when I first saw this-she actually looks like one of the bitten victims with them big ass teeth-lololol
Just give them a few years, you will definity be seeing it. I can say that with confidence with all these remakes of classic slasher flicks from 80s/70s lol
I7m confused...are you sure this is the Hues Corporation? The ending credits say that the musical score was performed by 21st Century Limited. I don't get it...HELP!
Thanks a lot, Blacula has an awesome soundtrack. love this song. Hues Corporation is excellent. Blacula and Scream Blacula are some of my favorite movies. RIP William Marshal, thank you for an awesome portrayal.
Ha-ha! So someone else likes this song as much as I do. This is one of my favorite sequences in the movie. Check out the guy in the background at 2:21...

@bluesimage1 Benard St. Clair Lee is the great lead singer of Hues Corp. He's the brother on the left.

Awesome song! I found myself dancing to it. It reminds of why I love music of the 1970's-the passion, the soul, the beauty, everything!
