I can't believe all the amazing shots this photographer caught....the bird being pulled under the water by a fish, the dolphin flipping over in mid air, the lenses the camera must have had to zoom in and catch the smallest detail. What a great marriage between the film images and the music. Well done!

Music, specially at the end of the 20th century, had a renaissance for the sublime, the uplifting, the search for the best in us, and by doing so it became the true, audible time machine. The music of Vangelis (specially the album "Voices"), Enya, and Kitaro take me back to better, more peaceful times and even though their music comes from the late 20th century it takes me back to times before I was born, thinking of what could have been and was not...

Very well known.. like others, also used in advertising, such as for Air France in both France and abroad. What is it about Vangelis that inspires such commercial use, from airlines to washing machines ? Doesn't this deform the message ?

I have this album, when I came from work at 1 am every day I listen to this song on my bed specially and it send me to another atmosphere, I think about everything my family, my life, the world and if the world would change someday to be a better place to live

The musics come from the same album with the name "voices".Its music was used in the soundtrack for the 1998 documentary Deep Seas, Deep Secrets co-produced by The Learning Channel and Discovery Channel, together with music from Vangelis next album, Oceanic.

The track "Ask the Mountains" was also used as the music for the TV commercial for the Hotpoint/Ariston Aqualtis washing machine.
