Yes, I, too, couldn't believe the City of Miami train - I've only seen paintings or renderings of it. Everything I have read about it said that there are practically no color photos of it. Thanks for posting this extremely rare image!
the train after the rock island switcher steam engine is none other is the first illinois central's city of miami train set in the citrus paint scheme!, this has to be in the mid 40's judging by the weathered train set, this is the only color views of the train, still or motion pictures! thanks for posting! this train used to run through jackson tn the town i live in!
