Aren't and I didn't kill or shoot anyone and I don't drink or smoke at all. I was at a non deployable base and I have Crohns disease which is a service connected disability and I was honorably discharged and still have an active security clearance. There are no jobs available and I live in san diego, CA I soon will be a homeless vet.

I would like to know why he stopped serving after 2 years. My guess is he was probably kicked out for drug use. I have been on active duty for over 5 years and I've never seen a 2 year contract. Most people have to sign up for at least 4 years. I was a Marine Veteran myself and what I see from most of us getting out of the stop loss all in one time back then which is a huge number is to miss the opportunity to find that job right away because of competition in the market which makes a lot of us homeless. Most Americans enlisted in the military are single in life and when we are serving the corps we work 16 hours shifts and losing all chances of to better prepare ourselves to transition eventhough we have a TAP program.

I would like to know why he stopped serving after 2 years. My guess is he was probably kicked out for drug use. I have been on active duty for over 5 years and I've never seen a 2 year contract. Most people have to sign up for at least 4 years. So if this guy served for 2 years and is now homeless, it's probably because he popped positive on a urine test and got a dishonorable discharge and lost all of his benefits.
