@ouzts12 There is more to an exige then just tyres. but you will get very close.

@brucelee716 There is almost no difference to justify the $10,000-$15,000 difference. Same interior, it has a clamshell (wow) and that's about it. The suspension parts are not worth $10k. Nobody can tell the difference on the street as few people even know what a Lotus looks like, let alone separating models. Elise, AO48's - smarter buy.

exactly ... if I'm counting right (and if they haven't cut out a lot of the footage in between), the Exige needs about six rounds to catch the Elise... a bit less than I would have expected of the better suspension and semi-slicks ... I'm very satisfied with my MkI without semi-slicks and a "normal" suspension :) On the contrary, the Exige probably would have killed me and herself by now while driving in wet conditions :D

@brucelee716 the elise about 80kg's lighter. an elise with the better tyres would probably catch up to it with the same tyres but on a track, the exige with its suspension and spoilers would beat it...
