First of all I will like to start by telling you that I was an Evolutionist and I too believed that fairy tale before I went to a more bizarre one. With that out of the way, if you have not read the Bible than you cannot discern from one testament to another and reconcile the both. Doing so with out reading it, is bad science.
Lastly, Jesus himself said, "I came to fulfill the law, not change it"... Sooo...Where is the change of heart?

Hello 8av8...here`s an example of gods change of heart...you know the story of a woman who committed adultery and they was gonna stone her to death as the 10 commandments commanded...jesus said who is without sin cast the first stone....remember eye for an eye in OT?...turn the other check NT. Theres a bunch of them. ....When jesus said I came to fulfill the law, Iam glad he didnt really mean it cause they are 7 commandments that says if you break you shall be stoned to death!

I did not have enough space on my last post but here is my ending. If you read carefully, Jesus did not ever say "NO DO NOT STONE HER"... He basically left it up to them and said if you are holy enough to Judge her, do so. But no one was......

People shouldn't work on the Sabbath, period.Here is my thought which brings us back to a sin that required blood.Since Jesus was the sacrificial lamb for our sins then and now,his blood took care of the sins requiring blood. Before, animals were used as offerings for sins.Never people. Jesus was the ultimate sacrifice and therefore no more blood is required. It's a tricky negotiation I admit, but if you keep reading you understand more. BTW, the Sabbath can be any seventh day of your week.

Also, pardon my question but I see a discrepancy in your last question. After checking and checking I could never find anywhere in the 4th commandment anything that said anything about or remotely close to death, or being put to death for not keeping it. What or where are you reading from? I found that reference elsewhere but not in the commandments. BTW,there is till bloodshed even after Jesus. However, the last perfect person was nailed to a cross. That's my thought. You ok with that?

We all know the story when one day a man was caught picking up sticks on the sabbath for his fire, someone caught him doing that and brought him to Moses... what do we do? do we stone him to death?..Moses prayed to god then god tells Moses to kill him as the commandments says....they are consequeces for breaking the 10 commandments. Ill find where it says to stone people who work on Sabbath. But you know this story right 8av8?

Right on but once again go back to my last comments of blood shed required before Jesus and No longer after Jesus. Plus.... There a Hundreds of things God commanded in the bible that are not part of the commandments. Big difference. God, commanded towns to be wiped out, Other man made gods to be brought down, some people to get whacked, eat certain foods in passover, and so on... However you will not find these in the 10 commandments.

If you were in a position where you saw the Red sea part, water turn to blood, your first born taken out as direct disobedience and pre warned, Mana in the mornings out of nowhere,the sun staying still for 24 hours, pieces of wood turn into snakes and so on done without a question by God.... Would you worship him or still claim Evolution? All this that require science to believe where seen first hand by the people....Cities were taken out to protect Gods people. We do that today without God.

If I saw first hand a God wiping out cities, killing kids, destroying the earth by flood (even the unborn babys) what the babies do?..If I saw all of that and god said that evolution is false. I would believe him but I wouldnt worship an evil diety...Evolution is now a fact supported by evidence (fossil records)..you mentioned witnesses in the bible, they also saw Unicorns, Sea monsters, talking donkeys, Giants and 500 dead people raising from their graves. the bible isnt a historical document.

The people destroyed were very evil themselves and it's not unjust to see a God trying to protect it's people. God commanded the total destruction of the Philistines "Palistine". Well, if I was god I wouldnt kill anyone, theres other things he could have done like fixed their chemical imbalances in their brain...If you say thats interfering with free will, I could say God killing people to protect his people is interfering with free will...answered prayers would be interfering with free will....If god is real and hes an loving god he wouldnt act like that.
