The pain is so great to lose the one I had that I will never probably ever have another one. It was worse than losing a child, I never knew that people could bond with their pets that much before I had this one. I feel sorry now for all those who have loved pets because when you lose them, it will make you hate life, because the hurt is so horrendous. And to see them suffer is heart wrenching. They are such loving dogs, and so fun to raise, they are really comical and love their owners.

Perhaps it's easier to love a dog because it is essentially a slave and only knows the world you create for it. A relationship with a human is about to individuals willing to share time together. You can't control it as you can a dog. It's not automatic love.

This is so cute. My chihuahua passed away months ago, about 8 months ago, and he was a little over 18 years old. I will never get over the loss. Never loved a human more than him. He will be buried with me. I have his little coffin here, he is in a coffin of salt, but he is covered in a towel inside the salt, and boxed up, and I made him an ornamental steel casing for the wood coffin, and left it be known that he will be buried with me. I would give the world twice over to have him back.
