J'ai été voir Dessay sur scène. Elle était quasi inexpressive, et a fait quantité de fausses notes. Vu le prix que cela m'a coûté, je ne suis pas prêt d'y retourner. C'est vraiment se moquer du monde.

After watching all these videos again, I really don't like the direction. I'm surprised Dessay didn't have a fit! She's just park-and-barking in all of these videos, barely any staging. It almost seems like it's a Concert.

I know! The contrasts between this and the McVicar production is insane. I love the dvd from Liceu her Manon is so believable there. Do you know if she has done any other Manons?
