Kyle Keggereis used to play bass in my band in Indy about 10 or so years ago. I went to the AMAs in Nashville in '06 and ran into Kyle, he was standing right next to Carrie and her hubby. She looks really nice close-up! I made introductions and then saw her do an unannounced set with Chip Taylor right before Joy Lynn White (with whom I played back in 1981). I just saw her on the Today Show yesterday with Jeff Bridges! A rising star!

If she had gone for the full eight stringed Mandobird rather than IV then I think she would have got a more traditional mandolin sound.

Yes, I was at ABQ, NM the Zoo Music concerts. See walked by me to get some wine and I looked at her as I should know her. OH that is Carrie and why I was at the concert. She looked at me that was worth a million!!!
