There is too much poverty in the Philippines and it is heart warming to see that the youth have stood up to rid this horrenedous injustice. The Philippine government needs to assist all of their countrymen ! NOT just the rich! Imelda? in the short time you have left on earth - why not be the catalyst to turn around the injustice in PI and become a 'heroine'yourself !!! ? Salamat !

im representing one of the 12 girls from Miss Gawad Kalinga 2007, Perth, Western Australia! together we raised $52,000 in 3 months! this was more than enough to build an entire community!, we are so thankful for the government actually donating the land for GK to build on. this is the most inspiring thing i have ever done, and i cant wait to visit the homeland to see the progress they have done! god bless.
