  • The more digital they make instead of using small scale models and puppets like the first jurassic park, the less appealing.

I'm sure digital just like digital art from photoshop artist use is less expensive, but as I agree with the japanese to their movie making and horror films, it looks soooo damn fake!

    Traditional vs digital.

I'd wish they stop being lazy and use acutal concrete creatures and only use digitals when its necessary, the creature is running, etc...this generation is looking dull

  • @Thorobred4ever well, a lot of the animatronics in JP were full-scale or nearly so - the Tyrannosaur was absolutely massive! That was the beauty of it-"real", full-sized dinosaurs for the first time! But yeah, I agree entirely - there is just something about a real, solid mass behind the camera that CGI has never (and probably will never) be able to completely match-and a lot you learn about the way an animal would be able to move or not from using real animatronics that CGI wouldn't offer.

  • @Thorobred4ever Exactly! Well said! I'm fed up with CGI in movies. On Jurassic Park and Dragonheart, it was fabulous. But please, stop CGI now, it grew dull and boring, and looks fake (except in Jurassic Park and Dragonheart). I wish they would use puppets like the ones from Jim Henson's Creatureshop again!

  • OMG rathalos rip!!!!

  • Should atleast have front legs... looks like it has a genetic defect or something.

  • @Repent3nce this is a wyvern, a type of dragon which has no frontlegs

  • @kowski94 this^

  • A flying dragon with a huge, heavy T-rex head. Who's in charge of the physics on that show? Jebus, the head should be streamlined, sleek and lighter unless in your world there's no gravity.

  • i havent seen any MH for ps3 yet , i just saw MH 4 trailer n they said it for ps3 but i dont think so the graphic look suck , im waiting for MH for Ps3 version or xbox

  • FUS RO DAH!!!

  • @WinnSkin I see what you did there.

  • @JoshEastham It's wings double as it's arms. It's the same for the SKYRIM Dragons.

  • where are its arms. Skyrim forgot their arms too.

  • @JoshEastham Ehh no, the other dragon artists forgot that wings are arms. What other animal do you see with 6 limbs?

  • @suckmypokecock If you cut of a pair of spider legs it'll be an insect with 6 limbs... And it still in the animal kingdom..

  • @suckmypokecock I dont know mabye a dragon. It is mythical. Dragons have always had 4 legs and 2 wings

  • Haaaahahahahahahahaaaaa the dragon would tip over xxD Too much weight on the front xxD

  • I've seen the movie. it isn't dat good

  • i heard the music thats playing in the video on a porno before

  • Saw this mowie with a friend ones, I haven´t had so much fun in years xD

Everything was so weird and bad done..

We just laughted and laughed and laughed :D

  • It's a wyvern with a T-Rex head, honestly not close to dragon anatomy. I also agree with @thephantomdragon....too much weight is forward and the wyvern would have hell flying.

  • Tyranosaurus?

  • Pretty cool looking wyvern.

  • How you know wat a t-Rex head looks like? Ignorant.

  • esse dragão é um T-rex com asas

  • I prefer European dragons.

  • That dragon's head was a fucking T-Rex head

  • T rex and Dragons Breed to make Unstobbable Race

  • Not trying to be a jerk, just saying technically, there was only on wyvern in the past but everyone adopted the name. Sorry if I came off a little rude.

  • @payclo3 actually, WYVERNS do have legs

  • @darkskyhalo YES!!!

  • @darkskyhalo also skyrim

  • @leonardoluiss02 skyrim is the best if you search for dragons etc.

  • @darkskyhalo **** YEAH CAPS LOCK!

  • @darkskyhalo aint got MH for ps3 yet , bro

  • @MrKJ90 yes they do

  • The wyvern was one dragon (only one wyvern in existance) and it was discovered by some girl who thought it was cute and kept it as a pet. Then her boyfriend found it, thought it was a monster, and killed it. Yes it had two legs. Yes, this dragon has two legs. No, it's not necessarily the wyvern unless it's retelling that same story. The Hungarian Horntail wasn't the Wyvern, was it? No, it was a Hungarian Horntail. And besides, the Wyvern was a Dragon so it's not wrong to call it a Dragon. Okay?

  • @MalcodaSaber

I think you're a little confused here. What the top comment is saying is that a dragon with two hind legs and forelegs acting as wings is politically classified as a wyvern. Hes not talking about this show in general or whatever story you may be referring to. Yes, technically, the Hungarian Horntail from HP is a wyvern. They don't call it one and that's fine. Heck I call wyverns in my novel dragons sometimes. Just giving a heads up so you don't have to be such a jerk in the future

  • @dracko4 @dracko4 i dunno how do you came up to have as many thumbs up

but you re a total fool

    >you say by yourself that the wyvern is still a dragon ("a dragon ..........is ...........a wyvern")

    >plus you re wrong since wyvern don t have legs but just wings

AND ALL shut up with your wyvern cauze this isn t a species of dragon but ONE LEGENDARY(meanin "come from a legend") DRAGON

    >your ignorance frenzy leads other country to say "WYVERN" instead of the names in each language

  • @payclo3 No, 2 legs/wings=wyvern sub-dragon, still a dragon, but called wyvern. End of the story.

  • @tDeathwingr ow you learn your dungeons and dragons wiki !!!good guy

  • @payclo3 What the fuck is dungeons and dragons? Jk. I know what it is, though I don't need shit wikis to get around.

  • @dracko4 They can be called Wyverns, but if they breathe fire or have a tail spike/spade, they are still dragons.

  • It looks like a Tyrannosaurus-Rex with wings lol

  • what program did they use ad

who the HECK came up with different types of dragons and species????

  • @dracko4 no, thats an dragon with no legs... a dragon with two legs is an drake

  • @AzoiatheCobra Nono, wyvern has two legs. Search on google, see for your self.

  • @postalcode900 who the HECK came up with different types of dragons and species????

  • @itman131313 I have no idea. :D

  • @dracko4 No it's not. Wyverns and Dragons are two different creatures in the same species, like Tyrannosaurus and Velociraptor.

Bipedal dragons are also a style of "Western" dragon, though I think it's more a European thing than an American thing.

  • Sorry, too much T-Rex in that Dragon for my tastes. Vermithrax still beats all them novel designs.

  • dragons are 4 legged creatures withe wings and can breathe fire. they also in some myths can talk

  • i look on the internet and that dragon 0:33 is a nord-american wyvern

  • did you now there types differant types of dragons? (elemental, snake, bat, cat, horse, wyvern, hydra, western, eastern, land, earth, dinosaur

    turtle,bird,lizard,gargoyle,insect,dwarf,aquatic and fish)

  • wat program was that, blender?

  • @AceTrainerKayden Maya and Zbrush

  • @nwmanitou thanks

  • wyverns are a type of dragon, but they cant breathe fire and idk about the flying part

  • @dracko4 Not entirely true Wyverns cant breathe fire

  • @Crash42900 and they cant flap their wings they glide on the wind

  • thanks my friend , greetings Mexico

  • the majority of reference was from dinosaurs and monitor lizards.

  • @dracko4 As far as our current knowledge of science goes, the spine of any creature can only support 4 functional limbs. So a wyvern would probably be the most likely candidate for a living dragon.

  • That thing they are calling a dragon is a winged T-Rex......The people in CGI have no imagination......

  • @dracko4 Actually it's if it has no front legs, which means it's also for dragons with no legs and if one had 4 back legs which I doubt any have that they would most likely be a defected dragon/wyvern. Also dragon is a general term so it IS a dragon dragons can have any number of legs back and/or front 0, 2, 4 etc.

  • Looks like Draco was used heavily as a style reference.

  • @dracko4

at least its a kind of dragon

  • @dracko4

so what do you call a dragon with one leg?

  • @dracko4 Actually thats not entirely ture........

Although both wyverns and dragons are depicted as flying creatures with wings, wyverns are not adept flyers like dragons. Dragons have a monstrous mouth that has sharp pangs whereas wyverns have beaked mouths. Dragons have varying shapes, sizes and body color whereas wyverns have a common standard shape. Unlike wyverns, some depictions show dragons as wingless and generally more reptilian than wyverns..sorry if its not enough

  • dieser Drache erinnert mich an den T-Rex.

    Oder? z.B. das maul;Beine;Schwanz

    alles vom T-Rex geklaut.

  • its pretty good but theres too much weight on the front and not enough in the back it would topple over

  • @thephantomdragon Well, yeah, but also consider the weight of the wings pointed backwards as well as a more upwards posture.

  • or a wyrm

  • @dracko4 acually, they have to have a barbed tail too.

  • quien me puede decir el nombre del programa de ediccion es buenisimo

  • @angeldracco Zbrush, MAYA, and C4D

  • @dracko4 Correct ^^ . the way this dragons stance is;it looks like it's huge head is gonna make it tip forwards. They should have made it crawl on the ground like a bat using its front arm-wings

  • lol dradin

  • @dracko4 or in this case a dinosaur with chicken wings

  • @dracko4 how do you pernounce that O.O

  • @dracko4 its true and actually this dragon is called an african hornridge.

im a bit of a dragon nut

  • @dracko4

Indeed! Enough with these imposters! I demand real dragons, not scaley chickens D:<

  • it kinda reminds me of a rathalos.

  • what a handsome dragon!

  • this movie was so fucking gay i just got finished watching it. what the hell was up with the ending. this movie can go to one of the most badly made movies and worst movie awards.

  • You know ,the tail obviously looked really light, the Legs look short stubby and not really strong, yet the Head was pakced with muscles and took half the bodylength(WITH the torso) and so it really couldn''t stand on two legs.

  • It doesn't. It uses its wings to walk on like a bat.

  • he lifed??

  • european dragons have 4 legs wings on their back and they also have a longer head than that

  • european dragons have 4 legs... this is a wyvern.

  • that looks more like a wyveren

  • liar

  • 0:15 - blatantly stacked it

  • 0:49 LOOL i'd used that tools in Pc before... ? it's Light Wave 9 xD

  • My little girls and I are in this movie as background. Sophie was the youngest cast member (just 1 yr old) and Lacie has the long, curly hair and was only 3 yr old.

It was so fun doing this and I'd love to do it again!

  • between a dragon and t rex is like a hawk and rabit.dragons whould just look at a Tyranosaurus like it was food..dragons were larger then any dino on the earth if they did live back then.cause if they didnt live you might aswell say t rex was fake.

  • Show me a dragon fossil.

  • *sigh* They should do a Monster Hunter Movie. Now that would kick ass. Unknown actors, who know the games AND of course some of the original Monsters, like a Rathalos or Tigrex... Heck even Fatalis and Daora can join.

  • WIN. EPIC WIN

  • @Comodovaran they really should, but then again hopefully not ruin the epic franchise lol, and they would HAVE to include shogun ceanataur

  • @howsamhowsam It's Monster Hunter... It's so unknown that it has a Cult Status so it won't be ruined... Well, over here in Belgium and Europe it's quite unknown... Besides, what's there to ruin? No story, no main characters, nothing! So... The only thing they can ruin are the Monsters, which is pretty hard to do XD

  • @Comodovaran

I'm (and probably thousands of others too are) waiting for that to happen since the first MH game :-(

  • @Comodovaran totally. dude. and now we know where rathalos came from

  • Excellent work.

At first I thought the eyelid looked a bit odd, but seeing the textured render made a big difference.

The claws are damn nice too.

  • yeah if dragons ever excited they might look like this because they my of live but thier is no proof on that except stories but stories have to come somewhere right

  • Comment removed

  • Why do they always have wyverns in place of dragons whenever it comes to movies (yeah I know, not all dragon movies do) ?

  • because most ppl simply do not know

  • does any1 no where to get that program they r using to create and animate the dragons?

  • Animation program appears to be Maya.

The final model appears to be in mudbox.

  • That looks awesome so far..I'm glad there gonna come out with another dragon movie ^.=.^ \m/

  • what is the animation program that all these kind of movie makers use i want to make a dragon!

  • See, you can make a dragon in just about any program if your skilled enough.

The program isn't a magical thing that enables you to do top rank stuff like this. I takes much practice. The program can make it slightly easier, but it's really the skill of the artist and not the program.

However, if you want the programs hat he best use, prepare to spend 1000 USD and up.

  • well actually there are certain programs that you do need to make a dragon, for instance, im not positive if you can but i dont think that you can make a dragon as good as that in windows movie maker or irfran view, there are specific ones you need to make ones like that

  • Yes, 3d packages like Maya, 3DS Max, Lightwave, Cinema 4D, Blender, XSI, Modo, etc.

  • Technically this would be considered a Wyvern over a Dragon. But Wyverns are a sub-species to dragons thus why they are often used as Dragons in general.

  • eh i would say wyverns are just a type ofdragon just like the knucker and the gargoile are.

  • Like I said, Sub-species or minor species of the man name of them. It all depends on how you would look at it. Each have their own ways, just like the Drake, the Wyrm, etc. they are all considered as a 'sub-species'
