Season 2 is the best. Love Natalie Dormer/ Anne Boleyn. People think I'm weird because I say I feel as if Anne is my friend becuase my whole room is deticated to her i.e. Posters, books, films about her, (especially the tudors!!!), i go to all the Tudor Royal palaces and houses. I simply love Anne Boleyn. Well done Natalie, you did a great job of being Anne...:D

It's a good show, but the truth was Henry VIII was a big fatass with gout.

I still think Sam Neil as Cardinal Wolsey was the best role, too bad he killed himself at the end of season one.

Not true, Henry didn't become a fat ass until late in his life.  In his youth he was very thin, attractive, and athletic. You only see the famous painting of him later in life, but portraits exist of him in his youth. You should search for them...

@astrofabio68 Actually its unlikely that Henry had Syphilis, but no one can be certain, He was still young and attractive when Anne Boleyn became his next queen, his leg didn't ulcerate until after the jousting accident in 1536 which reopened his wound in his leg from a previous jousting accident, this time though it never healed and the ulcer had to be drained daily. He started to get "ugly" and fat around the time that Jane Seymour died and he married Anne of Cleeves.

I've been talking to my mum about this (and btw, she's an historian - that's why I know these things;-) ) and she told me that they got the wrong sister marring Charles Brandon! In the series I remember that it was Margaret who married the PT king and Brandon. Well, the truth is that it wasn't her! It was Mary! King's other sister!

If they get their own history wrong, can you imagine what more they will do wrong?

Please, just be careful when you see it!

I started watching The Tudors here in Portugal... I was enjoying it! I like this kind of series... until they decided to create this portuguese king who marries the Henry's sister and she murders him. I have to tell you - THAT NEVER HAPPENED.

We (portuguese) were in such a great era that time. Our king was generous, our country was independent and we had our history.

I know it's not your fault, but people need to know the truth! Never saw it again

Whoever was in charge of the edition of the credits is a genius.

Just the Opening is as addictive as the show itself. Is a masterpiece. The images dance in front of the eyes with harmony and ellegance with this beautiful music.

Simply brilliant. And the detail of the King's face at the very end with the last beat of the music is also fantastic.
