  • Stop ranting people, this is an old video, this could be helpful for some people. The concept of arranging the parts / hardware of the computer is there but if you're looking for wire connections look for another video. peace.

  • wow really good LOL sucks

  • seams like you have alot of parts just laying around

  • Thanks.

  • ESD?? Do you know what it is?

  • This is a really bad video.

  • @AmazonicoPR Indeed..

  • thumbs up if your learning on your left elbow!

  • I'd suggest installing graphics card before PCI cards simply because graphics cards can be huge and block access to some PCI slots. It'd be annoying to install your PCI cards and then realize you're going to have to move them to fit your graphics card.

    Helpful video though.

  • i just started working at a computer shop. this was helpful. thanks!

  • @captnt3rror Stop Swearing Kid. That's not cool.

  • that case is really old

  • what about the ram,the CPU(processor for those people who don't know what cpu is),the heat sync, and you didn't show us the wiring

  • search around more on YT.

  • lol you just showed the easy part, the wiring is the difficult one, how do you expect us to get it right?

  • @captnt3rror yeah your so cool

  • seems like he insert the hard disk up side down

  • I have that same computer case

  • @somebrownguy07 Just a matter of compatible inputs, the hard part is organizing it efficiently for cooling and little to no contact with delicate hardware (namely the mobo), but that varies by case i would think.

  • wroooong the first thing you will do is mount the cpu and the cpu heat sink

  • @andreasfup Perhaps, but you dont have to. Of course, it might make it simpler. (By the way, it appears hes already done that, hence the heat sink on the motherboard as hes installing the mobo)

  • wow i dunno how im gonna watch this when im reassembling the pc which i watch this video on :(

  • I am sorry but that computer just has:

    Bad CPU

    Bad Graphics Card

    Bad CASE!

    Bad EVERYTHING !

Wow I would burn it :D

  • @HallyVids it was probably just for the video, easy stuff, even an old dell would be good for teaching how to assemble, due to the fact that there all basically the same

  • @HallyVids Haha, it pains me to see this too XD kill it by fire

  • he screwed every1's mom in this chat

  • 0:40-0:42 "Find the holes, where it goes" HAH!!

  • i like how this video does not show how to wire up everything,

it was good but that woulda been so much more helpful

  • This video is extremely out dated as well as missing all the details which is the most important part. He covers just sliding the parts in but anyone can figure that out. When it comes to building a computer its the little details that people miss/skip. If you are looking to assemble a computer you really should check out (elitepcbuilding . com). Its a very new website that goes into extreme detail with great pictures.

  • @Cryo53

His other videos go into more detail, this just goes over the basic steps. I personally found it useful, now I can look into the steps I don't know how to do, and ignore the videos covering steps that I am familiar with or don't apply to my build.

  • can you have more than one Hard Drive. Dont troll me im learning how to build my own computer so i was just wondering.

  • @APinCF1224 Yes, but make sure the power supply you get has enough SATA connectors for it. It should say somewhere in the description of whatever Power Supply you get(PSU) how many SATA connectors you have. Like Raxer said, make sure you you boot from the one with your OS on it.

  • he forgot the ram

  • This video might have been useful in the 90s... lol

  • does the agr of the case even matter, i only care about room inside the case

  • if i wan to make my own Pc, will the motherboard come with its own sound, or will I have to spend to get a separate sound device

  • @callofdutyguy9 Some motherboards come with integrated sound that will supply sound without the need for a separate sound card. The specs of the motherboard should tell you if it has integrated sound or not. Although, if you do care about sound quality, I would go for a separate sound card. They supply much better sound quality than integrated sound on a motherboard.

  • lesson in "how to clone a dinosaur"

  • im going to break something lol

  • Is the plug of the sound need a wirings too?

Because my sounds working but the headset is not!

    >:( I tested my headset on my other pc and works fine but in this computer its *******!

  • Damn, wiring is hard.

  • Wow, If u do in this way then the whole PC is at risk.

  • Wow, nice try but not sure that video was helpful for anyone.

  • oh come on the wiring isn't that hard

  • dude wat about wiring connections

  • my computer got broken. When I turn it on, monitor light flashes orange, and it does not turn green...what is wrong with that? Any help is appreciated...

  • @sara46762 it happened to me too. there seemed to be a lot of dust in the pc fan so it got very hot and fried... but now i have a new one and much better :D

  • @sara46762

There's no signal going to your Monitor, check your video card.

  • probably the worst tutorial in the world

  • where does the processor go...?

  • @alternate241 On the motherboard.

  • what abt connecting the drives thats what I wanted to nice vid though

  • Protip: Don't touch the parts with your bare hands and generally depolarize before doing anything that involves chips or IC's.

  • @AppA first off, its called ground yourself, second off its not a protip, its a common-sense tip, and lastly nobody would know what IC's are, stop trying to sound clever your embarrising yourself.

  • It is cheaper when i assemble my own pc that buy in store?

  • Its cheaper to buy your computer parts online or at a factory outlet and assemble it yourself, but its not recommended for computer newcomers. It also isn't necessary unless you're looking for a high-performance computer or a gaming pc, and so on.

  • yessir

  • what is the order of the wiring to the cd drives and the hard drives i have 2 hard drives

  • can i put more than 1 graphics card into 1 computer, i can right?

  • @krumpinAnnanth if you have more than one agp /pci-e slot on your motherboard, your pwor supply can handle two then you shouild be good.

and graphcs cards should be the same model as well to prevent any incompatibility

  • Yes, if the motherboard allows either SLI or Crossfire.

  • fail

  • that case must be 1000 years old

  • @fortheworldtoknow lol yeah!!! seems like my scond computer I had XD

  • @fortheworldtoknow Nah, Probably OVER 9000!!!!!!!

  • @fortheworldtoknow That's probaby on purpose. It's more than likely an old junk computer.

  • @fortheworldtoknow It dose not matter what kind of case you have what matters is what you have on the mother board

  • @micro1087 Case matters for lots of things, like how much room you have for add-ons, and most importantly, for airflow. Bad airflow means higher temperatures. Which means shorter lifespan.

  • i already know this by heart.. i build computer for fun!

  • I made a pretty good tutorial also, check it out please!

  • "now u just wire it up and ur ready to go" SHOW HOW TO WIRE IT UP... Thats where im stuck, I got a gaming computer with a bunch of extra wires...

  • oh wow didnt think it would be that easy

ya i no getting all the parts and making sure not to damage any while putting them in is an issue but i expected it to be more of a hectic mess

  • you forgot your gloves...rofl

  • that sounds so easy, until you get to the wiring. that confuses me

  • @einsteinmc2300

    Yea me too.

  • @einsteinmc2300 it is easy..

  • Just stick it where it fits

  • how to assemble a factory like computer... custom pc's normaly have cable managment (hardly see any) good kooling systems not cheap fans.. anti vibration pads, filters, now if ur a nerd good graphics cards, prolly 3 hardrive bays, good ram, sexy case too :)

  • and it'll last you for years... not like 1-3 factory ones some make it to 5 if u repairem.... even more if u fix a lot of shit...

  • That is true...but its also..... kind of a generalization. My dad still uses, and likes he's 2003 year old dell (256mb ram, pentanium, 2.53ghz)

All we did is reformat it, once, because the OS was corrupt.

  • is it easy?

  • well, if you get some one or a book to show you the steps after 2 or 3 times no. best watch some vids first so you dont break anything

  • nice vids my fren"" coz i actually go to school"" and my first time to assemble the AT and ATX computer nice bro thanks""

  • iol wast for every one

  • You actually want to install everything on the motherboard first (RAM, Video Card, etc.) then install the motherboard into the case, and you also wnat to install the processor last...So that you're not touching it too much.

  • Very easy to do indeed. Take a look at the big picture, label if needed. Remembering where smaller wires was the challenge at first, but everything usually goes in one area due to the connection plugs design. Lol helps being a computer network engineer as well. But I learned from just paying close attention to what I was doing and alittle trial and error. BTW- nice vid to help the first timers :)
