Wow, the resolution on this is actually mind-blowingly good in hi-res. Downside is that the file was 52MB, so with the new 1GB limit (I think), that means about 9 mins maximum, at least at this pointlessly high quality setting. I might make my next vid on my main channel at these specs and see.
WMV9 HQ HD is what I used for the latest rendering of the collab video bit I just sent you. Only question mark for me is the frame rate. 29 fps...? not 30 or 29.97? wtf? I'll try an upload of something else with the same format, see what happens.
Hey man, 29.97 is standard NTSC framerate - this was on the lowest possible AVCHD output setting in NTSC format.
Hopefully with 16:9 now enabled, the videostudio people will make a patch available to give a better range of wide angle output choices and a new wide YouTube output.
I just did the same thing with with two versions of the same video - 50MB in WMV, and 850MB in AVCHD. If the WMV comes out looking okay, I think I'll just stick with that too...

Thing I uploaded last night ended up being half a gig! Yikes!
I'm going back to 640x360 WMV9. Quality was more than good enough for YT and the files were reasonably small.
