  • I love this song! it's awesome :) and I luv Sogdiana too, she's such an amazing singer! <3 <3 <3 <3 one of my absolute fav singers ever!

  • This song is participating on Simple Song Contest #7 with the following country:Uzbekistan. Please watch the SSC #7 Final and give your top 10 in points (like Eurovision style.)Voting will be invisible. If you want, you can aslo participate on SSC #8.

  • She's Uzbek of the Ukrainian origin. Oksana Neczytajlo is her actual name. Her father is Volodymyr Neczytajlo, her mother is Larysa Fedorynska. And she looks in a classical Ukrainian way - "чорнії брови, карії очі", "black eyebrows, brown eyes'.

  • I though her name is Oksana.......

  • love it

  • Good song! Thanks!

  • Excuse me, I'm rather new to this music. I've never heard of her. What's her nationality? I recently saw her on you tube with Ruslana. She's beautiful and sings very well. Is she named after Sogdian kingdom in central Asia?

  • Yes she is.

But her real name is Natalia. She's Ukrainian/Russian I think. Or some form of European.

  • Thanks for the info.

  • She is from Uzbekistan and although she resembles some Asian looks she actually is not an enthincal uzbek which in UZ happens quite often since the nation is pretty diverse.

And yep, her stage name came from the old Sogdian Kingdom.

  • danikbp. Thanks.

  • I actually like this version better than the russian one, it sounds 'softer'

  • je t'addore ma cherie je sais que tu va avoire dans ta vie te ce que tu desire derjis moiya lubimaya SOGDIANOCHKA:):))))))

  • The video is from ,,Serdce Magnit'' :b (:

  • Uzbek melody is beautiful!!

I love her and her songs!!

  • Wow! I loved it! I think this and Russian version are equally good though.

  • and then?

  • why does she name her self sogdiana...an iranic province?

  • nope, she just wanted to be and look like eastern girl, so she changed her name, hair color and all that stuff =P

her real name is Oksana Nechitaylo, ukrainian =D

  • ya uzbek language is very beautiful and i am kind f forgeting too bad coz it sounds so hot

  • Because most of the Uzbek culture is based on Arabic traditions and ways.

Uzbek is trully an amazing language... I reget about losing it when I moved to America.

    Yahshi musika.

  • great voice and clip...

    but wt's with arabian style ?? :)

  • Central Asia was part of Arab Khalifat, that is why we are muslims and have a lot of arabik words etc.

  • MrBurakification. she's a great singer. Music's good. I'm glad to see this video. We typically see and understand of Muslim world just from what the media projects. This is well made.

  • wots dah film called plz tell me! i relli wanna no!!

  • Not sure, but one clip lists the film as "Ходжа Насреддин", or "Hodja Nasreddin", which would seem to fit the video's humour and costumes. I would like to find this movie myself, but does not come up in search.

  • This more cool then pa-Russkie

  • she is the greatest uzbek singer next to shazhoda, lola, ozoda, sevara, and yulduz

who are also uzbek. but sogdiana is in russia now.

  • ...better then Russian Vsn...but how she speak this languege from voice...

  • Muhtesem ! I love it !

    Cok guzel bir sarki !

  • Bravo Sogdiana! Gozel! Aferin! Ziba!

  • harika bi şarkı

  • Scan Multi (Iskanderom zvali ego) ......

  • luv this song!

  • Uzbek divas rulezzz!!! For Uzbek song lovers: Sevara Nazarkhan is also a must to LISTEN and watch.. and yet to see her LIVE performance!!!

SOGDIANA - much respect to you. You are a pride of Uzbekistan. Though the country's not doin all right.. but it has the world's most famous talented musicians, which I am most proud of (musician mysf).
