  • does any one know the opera that is similiar with a song that he gets news that his mother dies and he sings the mamama song in the kitchen. i think it was in one one the godfathers movies not sure

  • You are talking about Cavalleria Rusticana. I have the DVd of Placido Domingo as the Tenor, Turridu, and he sings this song in the kitchen with his 'mumma'. It is amazing, a must buy. This song is actually called 'Mamma, Quel Vino e Generoso'
