i have a black one from think geek same thing but its tricks to put the battery in it because its almost impossible to fit in. i broke it trying to put it in so i called think geek and said it broke in the mail XD sent me one without me sending them the broken one. anyways i have a sharp T.V made around 2004 it says it works for it but it doesnt. tried it on my friends toshiba T.V and that didnt work losing faith that it works

hold the mute button for 5 or 20 seconds until the tv show you the mute control or will be muted no sure, but after that you should controlled for volumen, channel n' swich on or off, i'm gonna to get one soon.
