  • 458 ! ! !

  • 458 is better

  • which season is it

  • italia!!!!!!

  • all i want is a ferrari 458 with the power of the corvette zr1

  • most of the world think that america is arrogant and to be fair f*ck you

  • 60 years to develop the zr1? a bit of exaggeration dont you think? lol

  • corvette looks like a pile of shit next to that black on black ferrari

  • @benzbubblecat very much agree men```and it cost 115K? GTR can best its ass so damn easy

  • Baby Ferrari vs fastest Corvette ever and still, the 458 is 1000 better built and faster and etc. This is the only video where the zr1 beats the 458, of course, it was filmed in the U.S. By the way, the zr1 has 100hp more. Next time, try the 599gto. And don´t even start with Dragtimes videos because all those corvettes are heavily modded. Greetings.

  • @luigibattista10

Nissan GTR, Ferrari 458, Every Porsche, Every Lamborghini and Aston Martin always has to be compared to the ZEE AAAR ONE.. Because quite frankly america offers nothing else that can be compared. That doesnt mean these are ment for the same customer or are at all comparable. Obviously like you said the 458 is better in every way in every test.. But an american product coming second live on american TV would be entirely unconstitutional.

  • @Janusha I agree.

  • 1:55 - "The `vette is born in 60s, and still has same technology." , "Trough the years they had some changes in body style (Metal--->Chinese plastic), everything else is the same."

  • @Knezpedja

Plastic bodypanels and leafsprings were always the Corvette trademark up to the very latest models.

  • the 458 costs twice as much as the zr1....

  • @MrWolly28

I can promise you a Ferrari customer isnt very concerned with how much cheaper a Corvette is.

  • @Janusha The video compares the two. I posted my comment for comparison sake. I could care less what a Ferrari owner thinks.

  • AMERICAN HATERS

  • FUCK YOU

  • "you've got 100 horsepower more than I do.." "say it again" Lol

  • no wonder this suck.... no personallity....

  • the best Corvette ZR1

  • The ZR1 is hugely underestimated. And the Ferrari hugely overrated. Because it's Ferrari doesn't mean it's faster lol. The Corvette is faster. The Ferrari is great too, there's no denying on that.

  • you cant compare these two cars ... the zr1 is like a swatch, a lot of plastic but somehow it has style ... the 458 is like an omega, perfection in every way and the highest technology ...

  • Its amazing how in EVERY test around the world, the Ferrari is faster. Except in USA where Corvette provides a car and show up with technicians to make sure USA comes out ahead. Because coming second live on american TV would be entirely unconstitutional.

On the real Top Gear leaderboard, there isnt a single american car amongst the top 25 spots. On american TopGear its Corvette and Viper 1 and 2.

At what point does it ever get embarrassing for you guys.

  • @Janusha get a life stop hating and making up bs!

  • haha zr1 is shit compared to the 458 thats like comparing plastic to gold so fuck you dick head usa fan boys

  • @ferrari7060 well i think the zr1 is sorta make out of plastic so ur kinda right... and I am an American who knows we have no super cars that can compare to the Italian ones, well except for the Ford GT, which is discontinued

  • @xXThermobaricXx

The Ford GT was basically an European designed car with an american engine. Just like its 1960s predecessor, the Ford GT40. There really arent any US supercars.

Just plenty of kit-cars, tuneshop jobs and concept cars that wont ever actually reach mass production.

  • @Janusha ya and thats an other thing that annoys me. we don't have any true American super cars. me and my buddy just argued this haha. but i really do want a true American super car one that can stand up to the lambo or the ferrari

  • @xXThermoXx

there is stuff like the Tuatara thing... Which MIGHT happen in 2013. But the are things like SSC Aero, Mosler, Saleen S7. And... thats the entire list. Unfortunately these are legally just kit-cars. Built on steel tubular chassis as seen in racing since the 60s with mostly corvette engines and prefabricated race parts taken out of other cars or from racing. They were never "production" cars.

Its an ameircan misconception that supercars are all about speed. Its more about quality.

  • @Janusha If the Tuatara comes out we will have a hand in the super car world. But until then we don't have anything of the sort. I am not even going to consider the ZR1 to be a super car but merely a sports car.

  • @xXThermobaricXx

The previous SSC Aero was a shameless rip off. Based on a Lamborghini diablo replica-kit. Which is why it had all the proportions of a 90s Diablo except its good looks. Every part was scavenged out of other, already existing cars. Engine, drivetrain, hell everything down to the cupholders.

True. The ZR1 is far to cheap to be a supercar. Its got the steering out of a Chevvy Malibu and mailorder catalogue seats that move about when you drive. All the money is spent on the engine.

  • As for the Tuatara thing... If america has finally built the real thing, Ill be the first to congratulate.. But I doubt they have it in them. So far all we seen is an empty shell. Not even a working prototype. its alrady a year late but might arrive in 2013. If they dont go bankrupt first.

  • @Janusha And as you said, i think it was you, that america needs to not only focus on speed but also on everything else

  • @xXThermobaricXx

Thats the general misconception. That supercars are about speed. Ferrari, Lambo, Porsches all started doing 200 mph in the 80s and dont go any faster today. Because they are refreshingly unconcerned with unrealistic speeds. Speed on its own is cheap. Racecars have done virtually the same since the 60s. Whats changed since is buildquality, craftsmanship, technology and styling. Which is exactly where US cars have a hell of alot of catching up to do.

  • @Janusha I AM AGREEING WITH YOU

  • @Janusha seat move around in the 458 also watch..its because of the great g force the cars make..

  • @TheDubeo

Oh come on... No Ferrari has cheapass seats or any other cheapass parts. Its amazing.. Americans shout about how much cheaper their Corvettes are but refuse to understand that this means they are built cheaper, with cheaper parts, cheaper solutions and NOT the latest in tech, build quality and styling.

  • @Janusha gtfo..stop trolling me fag!

  • @Janusha Price doesn't determine if it's a super car or not. The Corvette is over 100,000. That should be enough.

  • @Metalguy696

Its amazing how provoked americans get over supercar prices... If you think they are expensive, they MIGHT not have been built for your budget. Its weird. In a country so focused on getting rich... You can see the market for italian designer shoes, Rolex and million dollar villas by the sea. But as soon as a car costs money, its somehow "wrong" and un-american. Leaving the entire upper market open for Euro cars to dominate. How you are unable to see that is a mystery to me.

  • @Janusha Hahaha he's just a narrow minded twat

  • @Janusha Not all Americans go around waving $100 bills wearing a Rolex and living in a villa. The people here praising the price of the ZR1 when compared to other exotics are obviously not those types of people. Those people would have a Ferrari, because they have the money for it, and a Ferrari is much more of a status symbol than a Chevrolet, no matter where you go. The price is only justifiable until someone comes along and does it as good for less money. Its called competition.

  • @jharrypot2004

This cheapass approach... Is it really working for america? All this flagwaving and shouting on behalf of Vipers and Corvettes. If they REALLY were what they tell us.. "Ferrari performance at half price" Why arent they international success stories? Viper just died because nobody actually bought them. Corvettes sell 1100-1400 cars a month in USA, Less than Porsche, and none abroad where Porsche sells 120 000 a year. America needs to build DESIRABLE vehicles instead of going cheap.

  • @Janusha The Corvette does not feel cheap inside because of the price, the Corvette feels cheap because of General Motors. And the Viper is not dead. It WILL be coming back this year for the 2013 model year, you can be sure of that. And may I ask, have you ever driven a Viper, or a Corvette? Go drive one, then get back to me. If you don't like it, fine. I'd just like to know if you really think its just not as good or if you just don't desire one because its American.

  • @jharrypot2004

Yeah yeah the Viper may re-emerge. But today its dead. Their bankruptcy papers showed a mere 16 million in annual revenue. Which isnt going to keep anyone in business. When its back, its under Italian hands. We all know Italians can make a sportscar. Have I drive one? Whats the relevance. This isnt about MY opinion. I asked why nobody buys them if they are anything like the american hype tells us.

The Corvettes interior has been internationally laughed at for years.

  • Its got the steering wheel out of a Chevvy Malibu and seats out of a mailorder catalogue. It moves around when you drive. Its dashboard held on with paperclips. Again none of this is MY opinion. Im sure the steering wheel in a Malibu is perfectly fine and Ive never called the Corvette shit, but it just shows their level of commitment to being cheap. Its virtually unchanged for 7 years. Why is it then a shock to you guys when its also cheaply built and not as modern and capable as the real thing.

  • @Janusha Thats General Motors' problem. Always has been. The Corvette isn't a bad car. But it has always been let down by GM because they're too cheap with everything. Except for when they're deciding how big a bonus to give to their executives.

  • @Janusha The Viper will reemerge. Most Europeans will argue that the interior is cheap and the outside is a bit vulgar, which are valid points. but its no more vulgar than a Mercedes AMG Black series. The fact is I don't think sales are really a valid way to test how good a car is. The BMW 507 hardly sold at all. that doesn't mean it was a bad car. Its obvious that most Europeans don't buy a Corvette because the first thing you think of when you hear Corvette is that its American, so

  • @Janusha you think it won't be a good car. I'm not arguing for the quality of the interior, and I don't like General Motors very much, but I do like this car, because you can argue that no one buys them and that may be true, but doesn't mean that they are not Ferrari performance for half the price, because they are. Stop looking at the badge and the sales.

  • @jharrypot2004

Hey im not here to put anyone down. I mostly focus on the ridiculous hype, wild claims and bold lies that surrounds these things. Which usually ends in the all american trend of waving flags and shouting big words regardless of topic.

Im certainly not defending german or Italian cars. They seem to do fine without my support

When Viper died, their papers showed an annual revenue of 16 million dollars. They were down to 200 cars a year. Which isnt going to keep anyone in business.

  • The SSC Aero is a perfect example. They sold 14 cars while Bugatti sold 450 and more are on the way. A huge success. Even tho the Veyron is twice the price and built in France.

Why? Because the Veyron was the real thing while the SSC Aero was a overhyped, thinly disguised kit-car with every part taken out of other cars built on a steel tubular chassis and styled from a Lambo Diablo replica kit. Clearly if these things were anything like ameircan hype tells us, why dont people actually buy them.

  • @Janusha The F50 proved that even Ferrari could make a bad car. And the SSC Aero was not overhyped and it was not a kit car by any means. The prototype was built over a spaceframe originally used in a Diablo replica car built by SSC. And no, 200 cars won't keep anyone in business, the fact is too mnay people are scared to drive a Viper, because it never had stability or traction control, which it will have when it comes back. There are plenty of wild claims and just straight out lies

  • @Janusha concerning several european cars. But I don't go aorund to every video I can find of a European car and comment trying to put it down.

  • @jharrypot2004

In Europe there are 100 publications all lining up to put the next big thing on the front page. Critical car shows on every tv channel. Manufacturers love this. Its essentially world wide advertisement for free. But they are forced to make quality to score good reviews. Even if its just a boring family car. Win-win for everyone. While in USA criticism is seen as something bad. That can only hurt sales and cost jobs. So the US industry has never had this pressure to be competitive.

  • So.. naturally when Europeans DO criticise or debate anything american, the answer is always the same OMG YOU HATE AMERICA !!!

This aversion to criticism is arguably what cost them their entire car industry. You can no longer get away with sprinkling yesteryears tech with patriotism in the name of shameless profiteering. Scared to drive a Viper... Is that a good thing then? I hear all the excuses but america needs to build DESIRABLE cars instead of find ever cheaper ways to build them.

  • Jay Leno talks about this in relation to why it took 6 years to establish TopGear in USA. Networks wouldnt touch it for fear of loosing millions in advertisement money if ever an US product was criticised. So Jay refused to host it. Instead they got standup comics, team of scriptwriters and put present it as a comedy show along west coast customs and mythbusters... Even then, they are very restricted in what they can actually say. And Corvette beats a Ferrari. ONLY on american TopGear. Hurrah !

  • @Janusha And the top 2 times on the UK test track happen to be British cars. Hmmmmm. Is that any different?

  • @Janusha @Janusha They're not just looking to find a cheap way to build a car, yes the Viper was built on a budget, a small one at that, but they wanted to make it a car for people who loved

  • @Janusha driving. We do not have an aversion to criticism,w hat we don't like is snobby Europeans doing nothing but saying that this car is not as good as a European car, its not criticism,

  • @Janusha its just discrimination. I don't go around saying you hate the USA. Top Gear in the UK is made with public money, any company that was advertising a show would pull their investment

  • @jharrypot2004

Hey I grew up with american cars. My father collects old classics from when Made in America meant something. He used to take me to dragraces and american car shows. Ive seen that side of the fence. I also had my time working in the computer business in London driving Lotus, Ferrari, Lambo and all that. I can see the peoples appeal with brute force and low tech that you can fix with a hammer but its just not competitive today is it.

  • BBC UK is state owned channel and therefore is completely independant. But its not just TopGear. Every country has their own shows. In EVERY test around the world a Ferrari 458 is better than a Corvette except live on american TV where an american product coming second would be entirely unconstitutional. As so many other tihngs in america, Its about having faith and belief. facts are secondary. On TopGear Uk there isnt a single US car on top 25 while in USA Viper and Corvette are 1 and 2.

  • @Janusha I do agree with you there. Made in USA used to mean something. It doesn't anymore cuz hardly anything is made here anymore. My first car was a FWD Ford Escort. So was my second

  • @Janusha US Car companies let themselves go, badly. I've never liked General Motors. I'm a Ford guy. I'm a computer guy as well. I love computers, but not in my car. And no, its not

  • @Janusha Competitive anymore but you can't argue that the suspension in the ZR1 is archaic, because its not, and it has a very sophisticated ride control system. But, for a college, student,

  • @Janusha Like me, I need something that I can fix with a hammer, not something I have to take to a specialty mechanic and pay $1,000 every time it comes out of the shop. I have mad respect

  • @Janusha for BMW and Mercedes-Benz, but the technology doesn't appeal to me. I like things cars that are simple, which seems ironic for a technical guy but thats just how I am. I like to do

  • @Janusha my own maintenence. Low tech pays off for people who don't have loads of money, like me. I either buy American or Japanese or South Korean (recently). But with today's safety and

  • @Janusha emissions standard, mor technology is necessary and its being mandated, but more technology means more things that will eventually go wrong and have to be fixed some day. I would buy

  • @jharrypot2004

Sure US cars are cheaper... But they are also cheaply built and you should know the US government puts import tax on them and has decided all foreign cars are a luxury so they slap luxury tax on them aswell. To push them out of competition with domestic brands. Also the reliability thing is a convenient myth told by every US car dealer to make you buy american. You pretty much get what you pay for.

Its also not just hypercars and supercars for the rich america DONT make.

  • Its also GT cars, Sporty Saloons, Sporty SUVs, hatchbacks, hothatches, superminis, traditional sportscars, track cars and certainly no executives. Infact USA offer NOTHING from BMW quality and up. Leaving that entire market open for Euro cars to dominate. In a country so focused on the rich, as soon as a car costs 100 000 its somehow "unamerican" and wrong. An american with a good income isnt going to buy a Mexican Ford or a Korean GM. How you guys are unable to see this is a mystery to me.

  • @Janusha I didn't say I buy exclusively American, because I don't. I do not buy European though because the price is always too high and parts cost so much more money.

  • @Janusha Stop repeating the same points over and over. I don't buy a Mexican Ford, and Korean GMs are not sold in the US anymore. And every country in the world puts import taxes on foreign

  • @Janusha cars that are imported. Why don;t you just stop going around to every video on YouTube of an American car and writing shitty comments about it. Europeans never miss an opportunity

  • @Janusha to talk shit about Americans. It doesn't have to be about our cars.

  • @Janusha a Lamborghini if I had the money. But I don't, and I doubt I ever will. It just seems to me like everyone is starting to fade out manual transmissions, which makes me very sad.

  • @Janusha I won't drive anything but a manual. I don't like paddles or DCTs. They're more sophisticated but just don't seem to be as fun to me. And its not always just brute force, in the 70's

  • @Janusha thats what it was about cuz no one gave a shit about fuel consumption and every one in the US wanted a muscle car, we've moved on from the drag strip. Europeans just seem to think

  • @jharrypot2004

You make 10 000 posts that are impossible to keep track on. Im just trying to explain why things are the way they are but ofcourse.. accepting criticism wont happen for any american. Regardless of how civilized. I guess freedom of speech only goes one way.

  • @Janusha I'm posting so much because for whatever reason right now YouTube is only allowing em to post 200 character responses. And I'm not trying to infringe on your freedom of speech,

  • @Janusha I just want to know why you seem to be going out of your way to put down any and all American cars. Can you tell me, or are you just going to keep insulting my nationality because

  • @Janusha it makes you feel good

  • @jharrypot2004

I studied social anthropology and marketing. Im interested in brand identity and social trends. Who buys what and why. As such I look into many things. International politics, car industry, economy, foreign aid, lots of stuff. Its pretty hard to miss america in all of that.

Im not on some singular quest to discredit US cars. They ran themselves to the ground entirely without me. I however find this link between your cars, your sense of nationality and faith interesting...

  • Forexample in Europe 80% of people have no problems with evolution. Its not discussed, its not a topic. Its just... reality.

In america however this reality it called a theory, branded "Darwinism" and widely discarded as nonsense.

Clearly having faith and believing is far more important than facts. And what you believe in is usually yourselves.

Its amazing to me how your cars are so close to your national identity yet the general knowledge of them is so heavily based on belief and myth.

  • @Janusha My brother who is 5 years my senior crashed his Nissan. So I gave him my car. I'm not saying it was the best car I've ever had. But it was good to me and I was good to it, and he's

  • @Janusha run it to the ground. I fall in love with my cars, and I would've kept that car forever if I could've. I bought another Escort (this one was much newer) because it was what I could

  • @Janusha afford being a college student and working for minimum wage at an amusement park. I love that car too. My parents have had several Nissans. They were wonderful cars but I've never

  • @Janusha attached to them. That may be because they weren't mine. I get attached to my cars, it doesn't matter what it is, but in my experience, it works better for me to have an American or

  • @Janusha a Japanese car because the parts are much cheaper, and the cars last, at least for me. Everyone has their own experiences and they may differ from mine.

  • @Janusha I'm faithful to Ford because they have yet to let me down

  • @Janusha Thats all we have in mind when we design a fast car

  • @Janusha I mean early 70's late 60's

  • @Janusha If their product was being put down. And the Corvette ZR1 in the damp did a 1:20.4 The 458 did a 1:19.1, and the American track has many more challenging corners than the UK track

  • @Janusha The UK track is just a figure 8. They are not desirable to Europeans because Europeans think that since they're American, they won't be any good. If it can't go around corners they

  • @Janusha say it'll only go in a straight line. If it can go around corners, they say its got a cheap interior. Yes, they are built to a price. Ferraris are not. They look for any reason to

  • @Janusha put it down. I drive cars to drive them. Not to talk on the phone, not to watch TV, not to sit in a nice leather chair. I enjoy driving, so I don't really care what I drive as long

  • @Janusha as it makes me smile. A Corvette makes me smile just as much as a Ferrari would. So what do you think I'm going to spend my money on? I understand your view on the matter, but mine

  • @Janusha is different, because I enjoy driving. If I've got a fast car I'm not going to spend my time fiddling with the cheap plastic or putting addresses into the GPS. I can only assume that

  • @Janusha you live on the other side of that equation and there's nothing really wrong with that. I just don't agree with your opinion and you don't agree with mine. Lets just leave it at that

  • @xXThermobaricXx The Corvette ZR1 and Viper ACR can easily out-run a Lamborgini and Ferrari. Happy?

  • @ferrari7060 The Corvette is 10 times better than that over-priced piece of shit you idiot.

  • @Metalguy696 The Corvette starts falling apart after about a week of use dumbass. Chevy clearly rushed the shit out of this car and thus made it total crap. And you forget that its not always about speed. And the 458 beats the ZR1, incase you didn't see the other video.

  • @xXThermobaricXx . Sorry, but it doesn't break apart after one week of use. They lied to you about that one.

  • @Metalguy696 stfu you fucking youtube troll the corvette is crap. the 458 is way better than that plastic piece of shit you fucking usa fanboy my dads subaru is a better car than that hic mobile. learn something about cars jackass

  • @ferrari7060 You don't know anything about cars for what it seems. You're also another blinded and closed mind idiot. Subaru fucking blows, the EVO is so much better than that horse shit your daddy owns. This video proofs the ZR1 is faster, and thus better. Even Ferrari stole GM magnetic suspension imagine how much better it is lol. I'm not a troll, I'm only above you on car knowledge you stupid piece of shit.

  • @Metalguy696 you stupid usa cunt big fucking deal. the 458 is faster in over 9 different tracks so its faster than that palstic garbage you retarded fuck and its better looking to.haha!!! you 35 year old virgin fag what makes you think i cant afford a 458 for all you now i could me a millionaire in the future fuck face.now fuck off you red neck go fuck your sister iv met retards that know more about cars than you do you stupid fucking red neck piece of shit (:

  • @ferrari7060 Lol at your username. You couldn't even own a 200 Corolla yet you defend the fucking Ferrari as if you are going to own one. Not even in your wildest dreams you fuck face.

  • OK americans... get back doing smartphones...

  • if u think i believe in what shows this " american program" u think i am stupid like u are...

  • unstoppable force meets immovable object!

  • i love the ferrari's look and tech, but god! the ZR1 exhaust is heaven for me.

  • This is like comparing a F#$king mcdonalds big mac to a Italian pizza.... nuff said

The ZR1 is cheaper because it is a cheaper car!

  • @akascotman yeah and its made out of fucking plastic

  • @akascotman What kind of logic is that you idiot? The Corvette out runs the 458.

  • a super car on paper, also a paper chasis a crash at 20km/h and that zr1 it´s done

  • the face at 6:45 and the sentence at 7:10 :D

  • I'd get the 458 its more "Rare" in the US you see a corvette like evryday thumbs up??

  • @rweghg3 how many times we defend the honor of america?? everyday , you want a price for the fact that u defent our honor?? wake up man u compare a corvette with a ferrari, this is offensive!!! ridicolusly pretentious american , for me corvette is a piece of iron shit, accept my opinion!! (sorry for my english, is not my language)

  • great point...it takes a larger displacement motor and a supercharger to beat a NA 4.5L.....its really sad....redneck engineering at its finest! so my question is why is the zr1 over 100k? u get cheap interior, a recycled motor that is already in the camaro and they add a SC plus a 6MT...so what great technology are u paying for? sounds like a rip off to me

  • ahahha funny americans....funny funny....compare a piece of shit iron...with a ferrari....you are ridicoulus...really...

  • @danpescatori News flash guido that's an american defending the honor of the ferrari 458...i wouldnt call italian cars a piece of shit, even though alot of them are & have been shitty ...& if not for americans buying ferrari's who knows what would have become of that car company....get over yourself it's a television show...ahahahahahaha ridiculously pretentious italian

  • @danpescatori

hah idiot zr1 owns any your ferraris you dumb fuckface

  • @Dominator5515 in your dreams , yes sure...this is possible...

  • @danpescatori

    check lap times

  • @danpescatori Are you fucking kidding me? You're obviously another closed mind kid who thinks the only good car is Ferrari and Lambo. GTFO. That Corvette dominates that overpriced Ferrari.

  • I like how Ferrari is the standard for Americans to beat. Supercharged vs naturally aspirated V8, that revs to 9000 RPM. Americans can try all they want, they'll never have the sense to make a truly special engineering masterpiece like the 458.

  • the interior of a vette makes me want to slap gm designers with a louisville slugger.

  • Only a very tacky, very stupid and very vulgar redneck would pick a Corvette over any European super car.

  • money went into one thing yea performance that why it soo good

  • "faster than a Lamborghini Gallardo?" - well how fast is that you fucknut?!

  • I want to murder all the presenters. Seriously. I fucking hate them.

I was waiting for some info about Corvettes in the 50s, perhaps the engines, perhaps the fact that Zora something something designed it (or was it Bill Mitchell I forget?) Y'know some actual PETROLHEAD knowledge but this show doesnt deliver. This show is an abortion and should be cancelled. It doesnt deliver on entertainment value nor car enthusiast knowledge either

  • The ferrari has got 70 Hp LESS and is just a couple of tenths slower. And the ferrari aid systems are always switched of by the stig. This quite simpely means that the ferrari has better a chassis, suspension, ... and Gm needs a 6.something litre supercharged v8 to produce 630 HP?? Europeans can get that kind of power from a pencilsharpener

  • @bluesman12125 it's a little something called engine strain. They may be able to get the same power out of a smaller engine, but the bigger engine will last longer.

  • @bluesman12125 Everyone likes to yap about how much better the Ferrari is but no one knows that Ferrari borrows GMs magnetic suspension to put into their Ferrari. Lol.

  • I like better the corvette...

  • ferrari is padol shift...padol shift is for ppl who cant drive a real 6 speed manual tranny...=)

  • The ZR-1 has almost 70 more hp. Fair comparison?

  • Comment removed

  • relax ppl and enjoy the video

  • ZR1 is nearly all carbon fiber on the outside, and what ever people claim it's made of ,that isn't stopping it from beating other cars at just about everything. This was only a $115,000 zr1 there are better ''luxury quality'' zr1s to by that go for $130,000+, if that's something you gotta have I don't. What did they say at the end of part two? The corvette was Faster on the circuit track. Nice Ferrari anyways The black looks the best and no one can say they would turn down a chance to drive it !

  • Everyone likes to yap about how much better the Ferrari is but no one knows that Ferrari borrows GMs magnetic suspension to put into their Ferrari. Not to mention the Ferrari is littered with computers and nannys that help it go fast. The vette is all power and skill.

  • Comment removed

  • zr1 piece of shit .

  • your a piece of shit

  • the ferrari looks 1000x's better IMO, more technology, better on the track, faster 0-60 at 3 secs flat for motor trend and thats 2wd!!! and just a much better quality build. id like to drive through town in a ferrari than a fibreglass corvette. not to mention the ferrari is naturally aspirated.

  • I would rather have the $75,000 Nissan GTR. Cheaper, better for daily driving in Canada year round, and after spending $15,000 on it ... it would be faster and better performing than nearly anything on the road ... including these.

  • the 458 would rape the zr1 on any road that has a curve, which is quite common.

  • @darkeldar20 I believe the zr-1 is faster around the track

  • If I was super rich, the Ferrari all day. If I was just barely rich, the vette.

  • LOL was born in kentuky hahaha what a piece of shit

  • @nicolaskurtskec yah the zr1 is a peice of shit even though it is faster in every way compared to the ferrari, looks better, sounds better, and has more heritage wins in le mans, and is only half the price.... yup a real peice of shit, go have fun with ur slow ass, 5 year old high pitch screaming boy noise ferrari...

  • @KAWASAKI4LIF3 LOL i still prefer the 458 i dont give a fuck if it´s 1 sec faster, and it is half the price because it was made from plastic, you can keep it if you want to.

  • Simple...

If you want to drive fast, look good and say I'm rich... Ferrari 458

If you want to drive faster, look "bad" and say I'm a bad ass (my case)... Corvette ZR1

  • @thegreat1pr with all do respect, if any person rolled up in my high school with either one of those cars, id think its pretty bad ass! haha

  • @plimptonrocksmysocks jajaj well you are right there... Hell back in my high school somebody in a S2000 was a bad ass...
