It of course has never and will never take away from the fact that he is one of the greatest vocalist of the 20th century!

I have never heard this song before. What TV show was this from? His voice is as smooth as silk. Was this from American Bandstand? Johnny Mathis had looks and talent. He still looks great and sings better than ever. It is very rare for me to listen to anything other than Rock and Roll from that time period. But I make an exception with Johnny Mathis. His voice is absolutely captivating.

I love these old performances of Johnny on Ed Sullivan and the Tonight Show w/ Johnny Carson, and Jay Leno, these were pure live performances, no lip-syncing. You either had real singing talent with no techno tricks involved or you didnt dare go on these shows. Bravo upload.

I've been a Johnny Mathis, fan for over 40 years and seems strange to look back to see how young he was, you tend to forget about his age and how he started out.
